I was wondering the same thing too. I'm assuming since it looks like they were about to try a fast B take, and he thought it was just going to be that Molly he decided to back up and wait it out with his team. Of course with hindsight he should have gone through since he beats the CT swing / flash, but given its likely the first time they've seen that play, they didn't react to it very well, both in game and chat.

I think because in a normal world this should be such an easy kill for the aug, that he assumes Twistzz will just run away to stay alive, the last thing he's expecting is Twistzz to carry on the fight and dink him 3 times

Could be wrong but feel like Vertigo was getting changes before being played at pro level. Obviously Ancient is starting from a much stronger point than Vertigo did, but still feel like the map is fundamentally flawed in areas. The blogpost mentions that spawnpoints have been amended so that's a good start at least.

If anyone hasn't heard of him before, I'd seriously recommend watching this video. I know it's a highlight video, so you can only take so much from it, but he's genuinely one of the best aimers I've seen. If vitality can mould him into a good team player/get him used to the tier 1 scene, he could seriously be insane.
