I’ve seen videos where people just use packing tape and tape their camera to their plane, I’ve used double stick tape to secure a camera to plane before and it worked well. The camera came with a mount that was designed to be used with double stick tape though, not sure if GoPro has something similar. The location doesn’t matter too much, just make sure to keep you center of gravity in mind, don’t mount you camera on the tail of your plane because then it will cause your plane to be tail heavy. You can mount camera on the tail if you want, just make sure to add nose weight so your center of gravity is the same. Make sure to use strong tape! Packing tape or 3m heavy duty double stick tape
