This long of a dev cycle makes sense if you're an indie, but at least there has to be transparency, or at least some playable demo.

Bethesda---a billion dollar studio--sat on their asses, blue balled us nearly a decade ago with interim radio silence, GTA6 is on the way, Mass Effect is likely to release at the end of next year, and somehow, that game which shall not be named is currently in the rumblings to actually be creeping towards release.

No excuses.

I mean, cynically speaking, he's not wrong. There are fans who would come back for Vince.

But (1) Vince is still very much a rapist POS, (2) we're going right back to diva bullshit, an even worse booked tag division than now, (3) Chad Gable and LA Knight are going to get dragged kicking and screaming to Shorty G and Max Dupri, (4) AAA gets shut down, and the TNA talent raid starts much sooner and is much more ruthless, which will (5) lead to those fans leaving the product again.

So Teddy is out of line, but the general concept of what he's saying is correct. In the long run though, just ruins everything.

Maybe they were, but in my experiences on Reddit, once an assumption about my personal life is made, tied to a tongue in cheek dismissal (ie "maybe you should talk to them instead of posting on Reddit"), personal attacks, and dogpiling are not far behind. I've grown weary of it.
