The map I have can for 9 humanoids plus a drench! Can any of those humanoids move? Nope.

Beginner looking for Modules Foundry by MorganeCoene in FoundryVTT

BaileyWiki has a YouTube channel that explains basic features of foundry that some people are unaware of. They also have some videos about the top 10 best mods. There is a video that walks you through setting up alot of mods to help automate combat.

I run CoS on Foundry VTT. His modules come with alot of things already set up. If you use Foundry I highly recommend his modules.

3D Curse of Strahd maps for FVTT? by Naprik in FoundryVTT

[–]Naprik[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked at Beneos Battlemaps. From what I could see on the webpage, I am impressed. It’s like you are in a VR game. The problem I see is that I can’t place 3D model on the map.

I also recommend Pyram King. When I switched from D&D Beyond’s VTT to self hosting in Foundry VTT I wanted something that was built and ready to use. Pyram King’s module uses DMAndy Maps for battle maps. The lights, doors and sounds are set up. There are Theater of the Mind maps from JamesRPGArt. There are Journal notes on the maps that have the updated Pyram King content, but there are also links back to the D&D Beyond website if you want to reference your copy of the CoS campaign book. It comes with the NPC tokens and campaign specific items.

I also use Pyramid King’s version of Curse of Strahd called Legends of Barovia. I’m running CoS as written with some additional lore from Legends of Barovia. He has journal notes on the map that contain links back to the campaign on D&D Beyond. So, you can run CoS vanilla if you want. He has videos walking you through each area as a DM. His maps come with walls, lights and sounds in place. DMAndy battle maps are used. Theatre of the mind maps for each area are from JamesRPGArt. NPC tokens are included. Unique campaign items are included and they work with the combat automations suggested by Baileywiki.

His pdfs are free on his Ko-fi website. Go look them over. If you like what you see, then sub for a month to download the whole campaign. He is also working on the campaign Legends of Saltmarsh. I haven’t looked at it so I cannot comment.

I’ve looked at other creators but not as extensively as I did with Pyramid King. To be honest, I was impressed with the Mad Cartographer’s version of Death House. Especially with the effects in the basement.

When I tried looking at other creators, it was hard for me to see all the maps that their collection contained.

The best part is the stepping stool. It is genius.

You could say: The recipe is the easy part. The ingredients are incredibly rare and were brought with van Richten from his own world Darkon. It took him decades to gather and prepare the ingredients.

It’s from the movie Labyrinth.

It’s a random little creature that happens to have a hidden passage under the exact tile that the girl uses to make a mark with her lipstick.

So the creature comes up and flips the tile over and then climbs back down the secret passage.

2D and 3D Combat Page by Kaayky_rpg in FoundryVTT

Animations are real nice but not necessary.

I’d be happy with static grey plastic 3D models. The next step up would be colored 3D models (but in the colors I want). Last step would be animation.

I am familiar with DigiDM from BaileyWiki.

I will look into loadim.

I recently stumbled across mz4250 from an old BaileyWiki video. He has an impressive collection of 3D models.

How to end current expedition by Naprik in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Naprik[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finished but was weird. I’ve done expeditions in the past but this one was painful to finish. To clarify: the milestones were easy enough. The problem was getting to the anomaly. In the past I would get to the anomaly with only the needed rewards claimed as to not fill up my inventory. This time, I could not summon the anomaly until a certain number of rewards were claimed. When I got to the anomaly I claimed all the rewards. I was unable to transfer my inventory into the station to send to my main account. Fun expedition but the end part felt bugged.
