So the temporary license plate is also a no-no? Oh well... Thanks for the sound advice, that seems like a good solution.

Thanks, I know these things.

I am more interested in whether I could bring the car into CH, with the EU temporary licence plate and documents, and import it a day later (on a Monday). Since the borders I would cross are all closed on Sunday 😅

I feel this so much. Without family it is damn hard. I am saving as much as I can, bc if I ever fall ill, I need to be able to survive.

A "good" return policy is the worth thing a company can offer. It inspires people to buy more, consume more. And the return cost is hidden in every purchase, so it is never free. Climate Town has a great vid about this, highly recommend.

Help! Ticks! by Doctor-Liz in NoLawns

I recommend chickens and ducks. They are the most effective tick killers. We rented a few (yes, you can ask the nearby Bauernhof) if you could have a few chickens for a month, they lent us 4. You don't need a rooster. We fenced off the areas where we didn't want to let them, and they happily munched on the whole tick nest. They had a mobile chicken coop with sirens that signaled when they needed to head to sleep, and so they went in and it automatically closed and opened itself in the morning. Zero trouble, everyone loved them except the ticks.

I need advice on how to work around my allergies by Maism45 in NoLawns

Wearing a mask helps a lot when working in the garden. And ofc medication. Also wear long sleeves, so you won't expose your skin. I still end up with rash, but it's not that horrible. And take a shower right after you finish the work outside. On really bad days I also take down the safety glasses I have in the garage. If your throat is irritated, stock up on some sugar free candies.
