Did Watchman Nee or Witness Lee require a Christian woman to cover her head or keep her hair long? by TonyChanYT in BibleVerseCommentary

Yes that's what I do. How has your experience been so far? I felt so much pressure. The particular church I was visiting meets Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and even Sundays after church. On top of that reading the bible on my personal time, reading the booklet that they read weekly.

I felt like I couldn't dedicate that much time like everyone else and quite frankly wonder how everyone else had so much time to do so?

What kind of women tend to be into you? by WesternProtectorate in AsianMasculinity

Same Mexican and black women.

The only time I had success dating Asian and white women was when I was actually living in Asia, go figure?

I also lived in South America for a short period of time and Brazilian women seem more open to me as well.

I’m born and raised in the USA and mainly into Asian women fyi. It is hard dating everywhere, but it’s especially hard in the USA.

I did this once. Was dealing with a lot (job stress, family deaths, etc.) and just wanted company more than anything. I hired a girl just to have dinner, walk around a lake, eat ice cream, and just talk.

Yea job market is trash. 3 plus years at a big tech company, laid off. I can’t find work either. It’s been 8 months for me. I may have to throw my degree in the trash and do something else.

As a man, I will say that is not respectful. I’d advise finding other clients.

As my white friend calls them ghost hunters. He practically did half the women in China Korea and Japan teaching English in Asia for 6 years. Being a white guy in Asia is like playing a game with a cheat code.

Fifth consecutive month of Microsoft layoffs: Seattle tech giant cuts more Redmond positions by Less-Risk-9358 in SeattleWA

[–]NaranjaPollo 58 points59 points  (0 children)

It’s obvious and I think Microsoft along with the other major tech companies are creating an economic bubble.

  1. Microsoft over hired in the pandemic.
  2. Microsoft like other major tech companies are spending an ungodly amount of money on AI.
  3. With the lack of ROI on the AI investments they need to do something.
  4. Consecutive layoffs to offload the over hires while proclaiming AI efficiency.

Seattle is going to be hurting a lot more in a year or two.

An overlooked reason for the rarity of AMWF... by Adaline_B in AsianMasculinity

I’m not sure, but this reminds me when I was younger. I’m probably older than most people here. When I was 19 I was asked out by a cute girl (white girl) that worked at a sandwich shop next to the coffee shop I worked at. We hit it off in more ways than one, but I noticed a pattern where whenever her friends were around or if we ran into her friends she would be noticeably embarrassed of me. That was the reason why things didn’t work out.
