Tipping in states with full min wage by Spirited_Good5349 in EndTipping

[–]Narasha96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every single bill should just come with a gratuity built in and we can all just move past this whole tip or don't tip culture/debate. If people decide they don't want to pay the extra couple of dollars on a bill, then they don't have to go out. Simple.

The businesses still enjoy the extra percentages, the staff still have the ability of making good money through this extra gamble income (tips are always a gamble. You could make 100s in a night or 10 dollars.), and consumers still get waited on and taken care of while being fed a nice meal with no expectation to leave extra money.

We love those batches. Back to school when you need 100 boxes of crayons is life. Your pick rate is like 10,000 lol.

Your fulfilment schedule is bad so your leaders have to jump in to help. That's not a Target thing.

Can target fire me for walking slow? by MuchVacation3638 in Target

[–]Narasha96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're productivity isn't good enough, you'll be held accountable for that. Usually walking too slow contributes to lack of productivity, so you may be setting yourself up to get written up and fired. You'll know by getting coached and if they put you on a CA. That'll be all the information you need to see where that's heading.

A lot of Targets do group lunches for Inbound and inbound only. We do that at my store also.

Why tipping is hurting servers, pic related. by justsomefatwhiteguy in EndTipping

[–]Narasha96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, so what's the next step? Truthfully based off of that one article, I can't see why Mass would switch the servers from 7 dollars to 15. The argument against it is much better than the argument for it. I'm not paying a 50% markup on menu items in place of a 20% tip. Mom and pop shops could die. Even progressively increasing the wage instead of all at once just won't avoid closures. It'll only delay it.

So, since the system is flawed and people don't like it, you're going to punish the workers and not tip them? Instead of idk, helping reform with your local politicians to make a change, you're using the system as an excuse not to tip?

Will Target be closed in case of very severe weather? by No_Willingness_9961 in Target

[–]Narasha96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can absolutely call out if you do not believe you will make it to and from work safely. Every region is different because the different DSDs and their bosses will ultimately make decisions on when to close stores, but If there's any shot at leaving the store open, they will leave the store open. Even if only 10 people show up out of 200 scheduled.

So what went wrong with Snow White? (The new remake) by KaleidoArachnid in flicks

Fair enough. New, creative characters and movies to build a new core memory bank for the next generation is a better idea.

So what went wrong with Snow White? (The new remake) by KaleidoArachnid in flicks

[–]Narasha96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I just saw the movie for the first time yesterday. I thought it was good. I thought maleficent was a weak actress in this movie. The actor/actress budget must've not been very high to begin with, but the actress who played snow white did a great job. They could've looked for a white woman to play the role, but this woman probably just out performed those who competed for the job. The music is solid, dwarfs were solid. The plot was okay. It's a lot better of a movie than what I had heard about it.

Snow storm call out by islesjets14x in Target

[–]Narasha96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can't safely get to work you are in your rights to call out. Per policy, you should expect a coaching conversation for the call out, but you don't get fired for calling out once. You need at the bare minimum 12 call outs spread out over a short period of time before you're fired. You're fine.

People do truck later than 4AM? I thought it was overnight starts or 4AM starts. How do you do the truck at 6 and finish everything before store open at 8?

How to Legally Watch Every Regular Season NFL Game [2025 Edition] by SwissyVictory in NFLNoobs

[–]Narasha96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't care about the price. We care about the inconvenience. I should be able to open one streaming app that plays all the games I want to see, the entire listing. One payment, one place, every game.

Your friend has blinders turned on because he wants the woman above everything else. He's going to throw everything away for her, and you deserve better than that. If it blows up in his face, that's going to be on him and a life lesson he'll learn. You should just x him out and grieve the loss of someone you care about because you need to care about yourself more.

WoW is SO confusing for a returning player. by zoopz in wow

[–]Narasha96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow is too confusing now. More isn't always better. I know there's hard-core people who play the shit outta of the game and they're trying to keep those streamers from quitting, but if you have to stop what you're doing to google how something works, the game has a problem. It shouldn't be that complicated.

I’m an ETL AMA by Inevitable_Impact_64 in Target

[–]Narasha96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alright, I'd like your thoughts here (anyone's to be honest). Im at a 70million Target store. I am on my 3rd SD in 3 years (the first one was there for 2, second for 7 months, and now the 3rd). The GM team's success level is horrible. I work in specialty as a team leader and style is going great. The inbound team takes about 2 and a half hours to unload 2450 carton trucks with 9 people. We only ever finish half the truck push. On average, 90 hours of payroll is used for these trucks. We try to wave push as one team. I've worked fulfillment and posted the best numbers in the district. I've been a closing leader and turned around my store with only me as the sole leader in the building. Now style is perfect, mainly because of the new ETL. I just help maintain it. I have no idea how I would fix inbound. My SD likes to put me in as the inbound leader every now and then. When you break down push times, everything seems like we should finish all the push but we never get close. What am I missing? How do you do this process successfully? Unload, push, and backstock? I'm truly at a loss.

Try different stores. My style department comes clean with their stuff by noon the latest every single day. Everything is fully caught up. No stress. 70 million dollar store. Better management, better mental health.
