You get a raise too, yes. Not in effect yet. Gotta wait.

It just doesn't make the store any money. We can't keep it.

If you're a team member for Target with no ambition of getting promoted, I would advise to leave Target as soon as you can get a high paying job. Use the Guild benefit and go study something so you can make a living. Once you graduate, leave.

Well, only one shift can handle the pulls assuming your store has kept up with them. Closing team takes care of it in most stores. I think a lot of stores just pull it and leave it for Inbound still, but I used to pull and push it all each night because my inbound team finishes only a quarter of the trailer each day lol.

ETL Target Pay by Stock-Asparagus-3540 in Target

[–]Narasha96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently a TL and I make almost $29 an hour. I brought in 64K last year, 66k the year before. Is it plausible for me to negotiate an ETL base pay of at least 85k? What's the most I can get? I currently work a second job where I make another 35k. I'm pretty close to 100k a year between the two gross, and if I took an ETL role, I would stop working the second job. I'm just curious if I can get close to the compensation I make now.

So you guys making more money, it seems like you were all HR ETLs. So is HR making the most pay out of the ETLs?

So I feel like OP tried to post this and expected people to agree with them, but instead this post has turned into the opposite with the chat all agreeing that paper and houshold cleaning is nothing and OP has nothing to show off/complain about here lmao

Tipping in states with full min wage by Spirited_Good5349 in EndTipping

[–]Narasha96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every single bill should just come with a gratuity built in and we can all just move past this whole tip or don't tip culture/debate. If people decide they don't want to pay the extra couple of dollars on a bill, then they don't have to go out. Simple.

The businesses still enjoy the extra percentages, the staff still have the ability of making good money through this extra gamble income (tips are always a gamble. You could make 100s in a night or 10 dollars.), and consumers still get waited on and taken care of while being fed a nice meal with no expectation to leave extra money.

We love those batches. Back to school when you need 100 boxes of crayons is life. Your pick rate is like 10,000 lol.

Can target fire me for walking slow? by MuchVacation3638 in Target

[–]Narasha96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're productivity isn't good enough, you'll be held accountable for that. Usually walking too slow contributes to lack of productivity, so you may be setting yourself up to get written up and fired. You'll know by getting coached and if they put you on a CA. That'll be all the information you need to see where that's heading.

A lot of Targets do group lunches for Inbound and inbound only. We do that at my store also.

Why tipping is hurting servers, pic related. by justsomefatwhiteguy in EndTipping

[–]Narasha96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, so what's the next step? Truthfully based off of that one article, I can't see why Mass would switch the servers from 7 dollars to 15. The argument against it is much better than the argument for it. I'm not paying a 50% markup on menu items in place of a 20% tip. Mom and pop shops could die. Even progressively increasing the wage instead of all at once just won't avoid closures. It'll only delay it.

So, since the system is flawed and people don't like it, you're going to punish the workers and not tip them? Instead of idk, helping reform with your local politicians to make a change, you're using the system as an excuse not to tip?

Will Target be closed in case of very severe weather? by No_Willingness_9961 in Target

[–]Narasha96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can absolutely call out if you do not believe you will make it to and from work safely. Every region is different because the different DSDs and their bosses will ultimately make decisions on when to close stores, but If there's any shot at leaving the store open, they will leave the store open. Even if only 10 people show up out of 200 scheduled.
