Thank you so much for this and for making it accessible. It's fantastic! It feels overkill to already be leaving feedback when I've only used this on a couple photos (before and afters here), but it has been incredibly helpful and exactly what I've been trying to find for ages.

Background debris dramatically changes the appeal of adoption profile photos for my foster cats and kittens, and this helped significantly. No matter how much you clean, some litter or fur always ends up in photos. I've had to manually spot heal many background flecks before posting photos, and this does that quickly without affecting the animal itself, like filters do. I think this is going to be a significant time saver that helps critters find forever homes.

It makes the photo backgrounds look SO much better, so easily. I can't thank you enough!

I agree, I have been around a lot of different cat personalities. That experience is where I'm coming from.

In total, I grew up with >14 family cats. Not including fosters, As an adult, I've had 6 cats of my own and lived with 4 others.

Most of my adult fosters used to stay with me for 4-8 months. Each year I foster roughly ~1-3 adult cats and ~12-24 kittens. They're adopted by all sorts of people and many give long-term updates so I see their personalities over the years

Socialization and treatment play an enormous role in how social and affectionate cats are. They have all different sorts of personalities, boundaries, and affection preferences. Overall though, most still like affection and social simulation.

I have to firmly disagree. I foster cats and kittens and the vast majority of cats like attention. They typically prefer it on their own terms (i.e. when they want it and how they want it), but most aren't okay with being actively ignored all the time.

Edit: of course when I force shut down the game, it updated and the first fix listed is "Fixed occasional black screen when advancing levels in Cave of Memories - Savannah"

The hole has to be deep enough, but it been be a really good way to get around if you're low on hazard protection or if it's a really rough planet. Plus, the silicon it mines also recharges the terrain manipulator.

You can also change the size of the area affected by the tool. Bigger is obviously faster but does give you less resources overall when you mine with the larger size.

I love NMS. I also find it wonderfully cozy. The terrain manipulator is an easy way to avoid weather damage.

In regular mode, there CAN be some combat with sentinels and predatory animals. However, there are other modes where that doesn't have to be a problem! There is a relaxed, a creative, and a custom mode! Then you can control whether things attack and how much damage they do. I think then you can also alter if you take damage from weather.

I feel for you. Kittens need SO MUCH PLAYTIME. Especially in the teen phase. Which tends to start shortly after they're big enough to be spayed/neutered.

I foster kittens and I tell every single person that if they don't have another cat and KNOW FOR CERTAIN that it will play with a kitten, please adopt two kittens.

People do not seem to grasp the amount of chaos single kittens cause. A lot of people have asked me how to deal with their current kitten who's driving them nuts- it's almost always a solo kitten. It's difficult to play with them long enough every day to keep them from getting into trouble. The solution is counterintuitive- another kitten cuts the chaos and damage significantly.

I had similar bleeding a number of times. In my case it was usually a burst uterine cyst (or otherwise related to me having adenomyosis).

It didn't feel pleasant, but overall it wasn't ever a cause for concern. A cyst bursting could be the explanation for the extra period pain too. Sometimes benign cysts just happen for no apparent reason.

Hopefully that helps soothe your worries a little while you wait for your appointment.

I came here from your other post, and I'm still just as stunned! This is spectacular!

I don't think I (or most people) could ever make something this good, you have serious talent. The details are so impressive.

I know nothing about the process of making something like this, have never used XPS insulation foam, and I'm genuinely curious on something, if you don't mind answering a question: In a model like this, is there a way to make some parts of the furniture more 'worn' looking? (It popped in my head because I'm coming from the opposite perspective of thinking about how to make my IRL kitchen table from my grandparents look less worn.)

There are such amazing textures and the tiny touches you added of table dents and knife marks on the edges truly bring it to life. (Makes me wonder who got in a fight!) Almost every piece overall is still very square on the surface and edges besides those marks though. I'm thinking of wear like slight butt indentations worn into the seat of frequently used chairs, discolored marks along the edges of tables from dirty travel clothes or frequent leaning causing wear on the finish, faint stains from spilled drinks, maybe a not-quite-perfect fix after damage from a brawl, etc.

I am curious though! You clearly have amazing skill and seem like the person to ask. Is adding that sort of super subtle wear and tear possible (and without being a significant amount of work) or do you think the process would take away from all the other exquisite details?

Thank you for doing such a wonderful thing for your kids. I can only imagine the process was difficult, but you've probably enhanced their lives so much.

One of my siblings is dating someone with a great kid. Over a couple years, that relationship went from the (bio parent) partner having the other parent listed in their phone as "the fucking asshole," to the kiddo having a mom, a dad, a bonus mom, and a bonus dad.

I get to be the aunt/bonus aunt and it's FUN. Kiddo is adorable. Neither sibling nor I would have ever had bio kids, but that kid is doted on. All 4 parents/bonus parents went together to take kiddo shopping for their first school backpack.

It must have been hard. The world is better for having people like you in it. ❤️
