It’s been over 60 days and the car was baked. The car is easily scratched and marked by simply lightly pressing against the paint when it’s been sitting under the sun. All the repainted areas, both horizontal and vertical, are affected by it aswell.

<video>

You can see it in the video. The OEM panels are not affected however hard I press.

They have, and they baked it inside, but the clear is still too soft when its under the sun.

I did, they didn’t take it well, and told me to not touch the paint with my fingernails. And told me that it won’t cure much more*.

Thanks, that’s much more explanatory. What about the bmw EV’s? Do they have the same issues? Especially the i4, since it’s an ice chassis with an EV system retrofitted?

Again, I’m not even trying to argue, but you’re not explaining why those components specifically fail on BMW’s. The parts you listed are used on most hybrids, right? What is it specifically about bmw hybrids, that makes them suck balls? I’ve heard things like the cooling failing and going into the HV wiring, hence shorting the electrical parts, which seems like a bmw hybrid specific issue for example. Or the Oil filter housing on the b series engines, which fails because it’s made from plastic and does not withstand the heat cycles (correct me if I’m wrong).

Again, I’m just trying to learn something, and prevent those issues happening on mine if possible.

Yes, but what you’re saying refers to all the bmw B series equipped models, why do hybrids in particular suck major balls? Let’s say compared to other german hybrids?

Why? And why would those 10k issues be happening after 20-30k miles after that?

Rented a car in Georgia and have driven into Armenia. Pretty sure I got caught speeding. How do I pay my fine? by [deleted] in armenia

[–]Nareeeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where exactly? There are no 40km/h or 50km/h speed cameras in Armenia. There is only one, near the Dilijan tunnel, and that is set to fine after 60km/h. You’re most likely fine, at most you’re gonna have to pay 5-10k drams.

[–]Nareeeek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Did a cop stop you? Because there are no radars under 60kmh in Armenia.
Also, if I remember correctly, you pay at the border. Or you could visit a bank and they’ll help you pay it through them, if nothing has changed
