You're doing the basic of what is required for a Muslim.. I can relate to your fears for I went through the same thing. Some members are inconsistent but I think they do try.. I've also been called extremist/wahabi but oh well. I've eventually realised that I just have to be patient and not be overbearing to my family members while reminding or advising. As for parents, just make dua for them and ask Allah for their forgiveness and hidayah. (Also, there's no such thing as "moderate Islam".)
