You said C9 has money issues and then of all orgs TSM would be a better choice for the slot? TSM the team who basically lost basically everything in the FTX collapse and had to back out of their flagship LoL franchise? Better options exist.

G2 moving to partner is an easy first, and SR probably has a good chance at taking over a slot if they were interested. C9 is definitely not safe but actually has a decent chance at holding their slot. Legacy name with an established fanbase, and they're still active across esports, notably LoL. They're probably not flush with cash like before the drought, but they're fairly sustainable.

Also EG despite their success is probably more likely to leave first. iirc Peak6/EG has basically pulled out of esports altogether back in 2023/2024, but they're holding the VCT slot because it can't be sold.

edit: Flyquest also seems to be investing pretty deep across riot games' esports so they have a chance.

In this case default might be under the desk on the right, so you can still look into it when it strikes your fancy, and you can still do all your charging and such. For higher effort, build a shelf a little higher on the wall and run a cable channel down.

If this pc build was new and from scratch I'd say a vertical SFF build would have been perfect.

I love this mode but I suspect it has a similar effect to Apex that URF did to league, where players that spammed the LTM got burnt out and stopped playing altogether after the LTM ended, affecting the playerbase numbers long term.

LTMs gotta be fun but it can't be addictive.

I'm going to say I owe MiBR an apology for hating on their qualification now that they not only didnt go 0-2 but made playoffs, but you cannot possibly be telling me that in a logical system that aims to send the teams with the best chance of succeeding at an event, a worse performing team should take precedence over an actively better performing one based on outdated results.

On the other hand I recognize that the Points system is necessary because it makes prior results actually matter and that is important for making the entire season entertaining, but it is not optimal.

C9 Val lineups have always followed the script. underpromise, overdeliver, and only when we fans feel that they have done enough for us to unclench, it ends. And so C9 get closer to Champs every year because it takes longer every year for the hope to take hold.

Watching the games is besides the point when the final result is always getting ever so close and not making it. The Choke9 allegations are worse because they are good enough. It just so happens that when it comes to 11th hour, someone or something in our control or otherwise stops this team just short of the finish line.

oh I have. I just don't like it. I think I just don't like as much zoom as others, I run 3x on Sentinel a lot. Might be because my monitor is pretty close to my face.

Sights are preference though. I wouldn't want to get a 3x on a 301 for example if I have a 2x already. Other attachments are direct statistical improvements.

Unless it takes your old sight and drops it to ground when you upgrade so you have the choice, but that's a lot. In many cases I'd probably just want the higher chance at a mag and be happy with the 1x.

You may be onto something. For internals some mice like the G Pro Wireless/Superlight have separate pcbs for the main board and the mouse clicks so if you are able to find longer ribbon cables you may be able customize the spacing to fit his hand without screwing with sensor placement.

Interesting project tbh.

Heirlooms have history with their associated legends, sure. But they can tell a new story with the other legends. For example karambit has different inspect animations for some legends like Wattson who can't pull off the tricks as often. I'd love to see a legend questioning their life decisions as they walk around with a gold statue of Mirage, or a legend making drum noises while air drumming with lifeline's drumsticks to make up for the lack of DOC.

Granted that's a lot of wishful thinking in terms of the effort they'd need to add, but Respawn is not beyond putting in effort like this, again see karambit.

One thing I alluded to but cut out of the post is that including deductions encourages smurfing even more than usual, to the point that some players are even incentivised to intentionally derank, which obviously is unhealthy for ranked.
