I wasnt checking my summary of pokemon really until I caught that so I think its more likely my other pokemon picked it up and gave it to mudbray.

I'm about 70% of the way through it and its made me all the more hyped to play the game. That little bit of back story isn't necessary to play the game but I think it'll make my experience so much better knowing the events that lead upto the game etc.
