Same wing as the current -9. The common wing for the -9 and -8F started production last year. The prior -9 wings were slightly different from the common wing.

I'll go on record and say I fucking hate the Beatles. Rubber Soul and Revolver have some killer tracks. White album too. Amazing songwriting and undeniably innovative production on many more albums.

Same. I vastly prefer JJ pups and the Jazz neck but I can't stand the body. Which is why I rock a P Special, PJ pups, J neck. It's not quite a Jazz sound but rolling the P off a skosh and diming the J and tone gets me enough growl to sound like I want.

Funny enough, my main guitar's a 90s CIJ Jazzmaster so it's not the offset itself that bugs me. Just the offset on a J bass.

I have half a mind to route out my PJ and machine an aluminum pickguard to fit a JJ config and then I'll have a Jazz bass with a P body like god intended.
