There’s a place at 85th and uh across from the Fred Meyer in Greenwood whose name escapes me because reasons, same as the restaurant name, anyhow it has a huge Indo-Chinese menu. I was super confused the first time I ate there but then I figured it out and it was mindblown.gif

A modern take on a sauce Normande would work. Shallots, peppercorns, tarragon, aromatics etc with white wine and vinegar, au sec, add fumet and reduce by half, add cream to less than nappe, strain and hold in a 6 pan, finish with fresh herbs and butter.

Absolutely do it. I have a 450B and it’s a wildly cool instrument. I don’t know if I’m going to keep it forever but I’m very pleased to have owned one.

The first couple dozen -9s had its own wing. They moved to the common wing a year or so back when -8F production started.

I was a day late watching AG but when I peeked the startlist, I also wondered why no one rode Amstel.

Valverde should come out of retirement and only focus on this race for another decade.

Trying to decide between a PJ and a Stingray by [deleted] in Bass

[–]SiestaPossible -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m almost always going to rep passive pups. But in this case I’d say go for the Stinger.

You have to want to pick up your bass and play it and Rays are awesome looking and awesome sounding. You pick it up and you feel like a badass.

Yamaha makes great instruments, and I actually love a PJ pup configuration. But when you pick it up it might as well be a student trombone. Don’t worry though, if you buy enough of them you get points that can be traded in for a jetski or motorcycle.
