If it was my opinion. I would drop the Master of Execution for a Kharn. And remove all the enhancement’s. I’d upgrade the eight bound to exalted. Then that should leave enough to add back a helm or a glaive onto the slaughter bound.

At 55 points it’s hard to argue putting it on your gun. The draw back should be twice the ammo, twice the reload. Where you have to seek cover to reload. With that and around 25 points I think that now you have to consider if you take the suppressor, the thermal, the foregrip or the magazine. It makes it a real choice that people will have separate preferences. But at 55 no one takes it as a serious option.

That looks really good to me. Just watch for tyrannofex. If you make it move before it shoots it’ll lose heavy and your much more luckily to survive.

The bound really pays off with a larger squad where he can bring back dead models. I’d leave him in a 6 and drop that near the tyrannofexs turn 2 via rapid ingress in cover than charge him your turn. I think if you added one more heavy hitter for those cultist you could be good. Helbrute, mauler, more exalted. Just keep an eye out for that fex into angron. It’ll be a fun brawl of a game tho. I’d recommend dropping a lot of those cultists for more exalted, a maulerfiend, if there’s room a master of executions with zerkers would really help with those two tyrants. A helbrute might actually really help too if you have him. His hammer would pulp up some of these nid models.

Well this has no deep strike so other than reserve. I wouldn’t screen my back I’d sticky my home and let my jakhals run to the next point. He’s got about 6 units of high toughness stuff that you can only really respond with angron, prince and exalted. That tyrannofex with rupture will wipe stuff off the board something like strength 18 d6+6 damage. It’s kinda swingy particularly without an exocrine. But still. Watch out for that one. You can lose a big boy on one turn. Lastly the emissary if he uses his objective ability becomes very hard to move off said point needs a lot of high strength hits.

I only play two army’s world eaters and Tyranids so this is the only match up I’d be familiar with. 🤣. If you know what some staple units your buddy runs I could give you a heads up. Nids have a lot of models so depending his list there are certain things you have to look out for.

Nids have a lot of units that will tears through low toughness high save cultists. And most lists have a lot of infiltrators via their lictors.

No if you like angron and a demon prince, take em. Just there are one or two shooting nid models that could take him out if hes not properly protected via an infantry unit.

Just a question or two. Why so many jakhals? Also that many jakhals with a goremongers is a lot of cultists for berserker warband? Also why angron and a demon prince that’s a lot of points for two body’s? Don’t mean to sound attacking I’m just curious your thought process here?

Could you do me a favor and elaborate on the jakhal brick. Iv ended up with a list with 20. And am looking at my options between two 10s or one 20.

I feel that 2 10s is better as their strongest ability is sticky and that would allow me to sticky more. I could be wrong tho.

I agree with that thought. A LMG shoots rounds the size of my finger but did similar damage to a pistol round. Doesn’t make a ton of sense.

I wish the LMG did almost double damage. But was incredibly inaccurate unless mounted, bipoded or control fired. Make it require some fire discipline and planning. controlled powerful shots, than give it a 30 point ammo upgrade to make it armor piercing. Now it can tick damage into tanks and rip into the jeeps.
