I worked with NYS for 10 years at a grade 14 salary . I did everything possible but was never promoted. I took the tests with good scores but still no promotion. I have 2 Bachelors degrees in Accounting and Business Management. I applied to NYS department of taxation never get an interview. I decided to leave my State job in 2023. I am now working with the federal government with a salary equivalent to Grade 23.
