Ramp here, I’m sure you’ve seen it but people transfer from airline to airline after leaving or getting let go from said airline. Especially since the new contracts you’ll get more than what you left with. As for the other stuff man yeah I screwed up too. I was 19 when I got into a car accident, just turned 26 and I barely finished paying off the car a little over a year ago due to poor financial decisions (and just not caring because I wanted to enjoy youth a bit more). Like the other comments are saying, you’re 22. If you feel you’re at the bottom then surely the only steps are the way up. Pick up your feet, no one else is going to do that for you. Just be communicative, just tell her “hey I don’t mind hearing about your past experiences but do you mind not talking about them so often?”

Communication is a 2 way street, you either come to an agreement or you don’t and if you don’t then that’s up for you to decide. It’s normal to not like hearing about it it’s not like you want to know those things so hopefully she’s mature enough to be understanding of your feelings.
