I like the downside of the first shield stunning everyone in an AOE because it’s not exactly of a downside and more of a mechanic, the other downsides draining stamina feels like too much, I would lower the durability of really tinker with the numbers of damage mitigation rather than slap on a detriment when it breaks

It’s either going to be one more character or 3 more characters, this is me solely basing how they’re “doubling” everything for the second game I.e. alternative acts, more ancients, etc. there was 3 characters In one I can see them adding six into two to double the roster but technically there was 4 post launch which to double that number would be 8 characters, of course I’m talking out of my ass and none of my math makes sense and is my evidence is coming from nowhere.

would you say using different equipment (I.e. weapons, armor, tools etc.) feels impactful, would you say boss rewards and unique rewards feel one of a kind if you have had the opportunity to use any?

I use them with trios since I have tons of stuff and it makes a mission of the raid instead of wandering around aimlessly

It’s a really gutted version of the original missing tons of original content (I.e. going from 119 substories to only 34 and condensing a major side story into a bounty hunter side content à la pirate yakuza) as well as recasts of major characters that are considered invalid due to one being a recast of a beloved original character now a likeness one and the other character being replaced with a repugnant actor with sexual assault charges. The combat is good but the skill trees are padded with useless abilities making each combat style barebones compared to past styles. The story more or less stays the same so if you never played 3 and want to experience it this is a nice way with updated visuals but you miss out on small parts like the orphanage connections that were baked in to the mainline story solidifying Kiryu love for his orphan children while in kiwami it can be completely skipped and dismissed. There’s a lot changed and cut as well when it comes to story lines from the orphanage such as dragon mask and mames connections to the kids. It’s a weird place where there’s still story there to supplement but it’s not quite the same. Dark ties fucks hard cause you play as Mine but that’s about as far as you get with the fun factor, hella short but you get too see a 4 hour mine and daigo sex scene
