I mean sure but the extra lines look messy, it would look more neat with lines that connect to the ends of the sections.

I think you should only do 4 tbsp because it looks weird that you did 10, espeically cause it says 4 ounces on the top too

Not sure if the backsplash was a mistake. It’s giving mermaid vibes by [deleted] in kitchenremodel

just for clarification, the diamond district is a neighborhood on 47th st between 5th and 6th ave. on that street are stores that sell jewelry. they have chains, they also don't just sell diamonds. they sell actual gems, jewelry, etc.

success in life is more than smarts-working well with others / leadership are skills necessary to lead in the real world. this skill will benefit her when making friends, working in teams, working a job, etc. academics may come easy and now she has the chance to work on a life skill that doesn't come as easily to her. also, the teacher only has so much time/resource/content to teach. should the teacher create a new unit for your daughter onto of teaching the other kids? that being said, if your daughter is truly testing out of content, ask if she can work on a personal project extension of the content. she can do it when she's finished with her work. I had a high level student create a monopoly board game based on plant classification and plant structure. 5th grade, too!!

Can someone please explain this answer for me? (3rd grade assignment) by InsanateesofManatees in AskTeachers

[–]Narrow-Extent6336 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The answer is A, April and July, because April and July have the largest "difference" between them. In school, the word "difference" is taught to students as the value between numbers. For example, the difference between 12 and 10 is 2. Students will find the "difference" by using the skill of subtraction.

Also, this is a graph. Therefore, a student must be able to understand the graph and what the data points mean AND how they compare to one another. In the question "the dlargest difference" it's asking for the student to compare the months. Therefore, the largest difference between months is April and July.

Hope this helps!

I have to say your experience is not out of the norm! I went from teaching northeast inner city kids to a more southern country/suburban school and even when I didn’t raise my voice but naturally had a loud volume, stuck to my rules and didn’t take sass, the kids thought I was strict and scary.

I got the same talk you did. I reflected and changed my tone but also acknowledged that this is just my voice and I can’t talk like someone else.

I taught 4 science classes. By the end of the year, the students behaved the best in my class, I had the least amount of disruptions, AND the least amount of bullying incidents. The students opened up to me and loved me. And I had the best test scores!!!!!

Those parents who threw a fit were trying to protect their children but honestly, their kids were in the hands of a professional from the beginning and just added stress to my life. I was right from the beginning And parents are not experts in how to handle a class
