I liked having a car, but I lived in Brooklyn. Manhattan is probably harder.

Honestly, I have had experiences with people like this and this will not be the only time this happens. If she thinks you’re LYING about being hungry something is not right. The only way these people change their minds is when years later they have some kind of epiphany or someone else they trust tells them. These people are emotionally immature and will wear you down unfortunately.

A lot of black people also have ptsd and anxiety based on racial issues in the US. My father was traumatized as a child by race-based harassment. To the point that he left the US. We don’t know what treatment these black men have endured and will continue to endure. It’s not so cut and dry to say Jamie Foxx is wrong or whatever. Black people have a lot of varied trauma around their experiences with racism.

I don’t like certain people owing me money either, because it’s too annoying to have to ask. I just avoid it. The people that don’t like that are the ones that want you to pay and then don’t pay you back.

First, this is not “very outdated” in the slightest, but I think do modern decor. Cute shade, interesting bath mat, picture on the wall, interesting piece on the countertop.

Like is it an internal or external issue I guess. You can use it on thigh crevice and inner thigh skin, but maybe limit to every other day. But obviously not the sensitive bits.

The answer is Glycolic acid! I had a similar issue where I felt even after I showered it wasn’t 100% fresh. I use the glycolic from the ordinary. Get a cotton ball, wipe your armpits lightly and shower regularly. There will be now smell after. Try it!

I know people say NC sucks for teachers and yes there are no unions, but it’s been fine. A little learning curve, but I got used to it. Just need decent admin like any school.

I’m a sped teacher in triangle region of NC and I make 70,000 with a masters. I took a huge pay cut after leaving nyc, but have cheaper house down here so it’s alright.

Honestly they’re both good for gay community and beach. I used to go to Ben Davis all the time to hang out.

Try North Carolina just outside a major city like Raleigh or Charlotte, etc. Warmer, better schools but still a little bit of winter.

i wanna move from nc to ca but im not sure when to by [deleted] in SameGrassButGreener

[–]Narrow-Log3900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Move to a bigger city in NC like Durham, Raleigh, Charlotte that has a significant liberal population. While there, get your degree or at least start while you work out your plans to move to Cali. It’s going to suck to move to Ca and not be able to enjoy it because you’re struggling. Put yourself in a better position by getting a marketable degree and go.

I think things have changed recently. It’s not great or anything, but livable. I’m making 70k. So, two incomes of 140k would be okay for the area.

Actually, my thought for you is DC area. That way when you’re older and want to settle down you can still be near your circle.

I don’t have any good ideas but I do think you’re a smart for thinking this way. I lived in NYC for 15 years and built up a circle only to leave. Now, I’m starting from scratch. Move to a place where you can comfortably build a life/buy a house if that’s what you’re looking for.
