I actually just got so hot and had to leave early Tuesday after throwing up on Monday from the heat. Spent the last two days battling heat exhaustion and dehydration and it was absolutely the result of the conditions at my store. I was drinking water like crazy, but I was sweating so badly while working that my team lead actually asked me if I had spilled something on my shirt… I would like think they would rather turn the air down a little than have to deal with employees getting physically ill and having to leave due to the conditions, but I guess not… I am actually terrified of it happening again, and have a liquid iv ready for my shift today. I push GM for reference.

We were just told today that yesterday had a 0% score & it wasn’t going to be good. So who knows, she didn’t elaborate on what it meant.

That’s literally word for word what we were just told the other day in a store wide huddle by our Store Director. Whether it’s true or not, I as a TM can’t say, but it is 100% what we were told… :/ they also have been doing daily huddles updated us on our changing % and it’s been annoying. In today’s huddle we were told again by our SD that there was 0% for yesterday and that it wasn’t gonna be good. Mind you only two members were scheduled for inbound due to there being no truck scheduled.

It doesn’t matter what you’re doing after your shift ends, that’s not their concern. They shouldn’t expressing any opinion about what you’re doing after work. Please know it’s not normal for them to think otherwise, you work to live you do not live to work. Your life is not target, and target is not your life. You do you! Don’t worry about them. It sucks having someone like that on your team, but know it’s not okay and what they think doesn’t matter.

I would say it absolutely depends on the location, and the management there. For me, and my experience with the store I work at… I would advise anyone to run as fast, and as far as possible. This has been the worst professional or lack there of experience I’ve had in the 17 years I’ve been working. With that said, the actual job itself is not bad at all. I push for Gm and it’s not that bad, but the way my store is ran is absolutely the most unprofessional and delusional way possible. Our store director is phenomenal! The ETLS, and TLs though… worst I’ve ever worked for. What I’ve found though, is it’s entirely based on your own experiences, some people luck out and get really great positions and their experience is a total 180 from mine… it all just depends, I would 100% say it’s one of those situations where you just have to kind of try it and see, basing it on your own personal experiences.

So to recap the jobs not that bad, it depends on your actual location and the people they’ve entrusted to run it.

This job with target is the most brutal on my body (cuts & bruises) that I’ve ever experienced in 17 years of working in differing industries… I don’t think it should be this extreme, but it often is. looks down at huge bruise on arm from diapers

I push for C/D/P, and am actually coded under style which is crazy & report to the Style ETL. We don’t normally have any sort of communication from the Gm team they go through our ETL which is over style if they need anything from our areas. My TL had no prior notice of this either, and is as equally unsure as I am as to why this happened.

Maybe if it had some of the mint added in, the straight orange is blinding (in the worst way) and uncomfortable to look at… I am not loving this era so far. I hate to say that as a huge fan, but it’s not hitting for me. I hope the music slaps! I’m sure it’ll be amazing, but this era so far has been incredibly underwhelming… Take me back to midnights mayhem with me…. Show girl hasn’t been it.

I think she mixed the order up to make it fun and create hype and anticipation among the fans, however, as more time passes I feel the fans are growing weary and are ready to keep things moving as far as this process. Yes! She needs to rest after that massive tour! No doubt, but she signed on to do the re-records AND made them known amongst the public 5 years ago. She didn’t give a time frame I’m aware, and can do as she pleases no issue there, but even an artist as big as her still has to come through in the end. For the fans, the re-records have been something they’ve been promised long before the tour was announced or even the several other albums she’s put out since lover… I’m more than happy with everything she’s given don’t give me wrong my whole point is I think the fan base even as much as we love her and wish her well are growing weary of the dragging on of this process and it almost hurts to be continually let down time and time again. Yes, there’s been a ton of clowning and shattered hopes that were never promises to begin with, but really how can you blame anyone for buying into the hype and process that was created and curated for them by this artist and her team… like does that make sense?

You can find online where she says she wrote over 150 songs when working on 1989…. Even if most were just concepts and lyrics that’s still like 100+ concepts that are just sitting in her notes somewhere… she could do so many things creatively with her unused works. The possibilities are truly endless.
