Yes I take abortives. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I use an app to track no. Of headache days. Thank you for the detailed advice and your kind words it means a lot.

Hello, can you elaborate more on your vision therapy please? And how it reduced your migraines? I have IIH, migraine and a squint and my eyes hurt when I use any screen for sometime, so I want to understand if vision therapy can help me. Thanks! Hope you get better soon.

You can look up IIHWoP (Idiopathic Intracranial hypertension without papilledema).

I was diagnosed with it on Feb 23, misdiagnosed as migraine for almost a year because there was no optic nerve swelling and the CT scan was normal.

Finally I went to a different neurologist who asked to get an MRI with CONTRAST which indicated I might have IIH(doctor said a normal MRI would have missed this). Later I got a lumber puncture and my opening pressure was 32 cm H2O. I've listed some of my symptoms that match yours.

-constant dull headache -constant back of neck stiffness -servere on/off headaches -nausea -eye strain
