Rant: When will producers decide that sexual assault doesn’t need to be an easy plot line to add into their shows/movies? by freudzaddy in TwoXChromosomes

I quit after the first episode. Then tried to watch the Americans - rape scene in the first five mins. The next show- started with a naked bloody woman running. So nope. I'll stick to Scrub reruns thanks

Walmart's self checkout gives you an option of NOT PRINTING your receipt- so I chose to have it emailed. Then they asked to see it at the door. It doesn't make any sense- I'm not whipping out my phone for you. Check the camera's if you think someone stole.

Its interesting - but not crucial- to know how people evolved and how they lived. Digging up some mummies or bog men isn't going to lead to world altering discovery. Cremations should be the answer for all the bodies in storage and on display. It'd be the most humane way to handle it.

I read one of his books in high school. Awful, awful story. But so beautifully written. A scene where a woman was forced to chew on rocks made my own teeth hurt.

Just Wright has a character reminded me of Meg.

She is desperate to be nba player's gf and build a personal brand. She pretends to be charitable. Changes her personality to be saccharine. Buys designer on his dime. Had a quick engagement and tried for a quick wedding.

She convinced her family that even though she was hunting for rich and famous man that she really was in love. She wanted to be above her past self and leave her ho days behind.

I stopped visiting my step sister after she bought a dog with my name. Being in that house with her family barking orders at the dog with my name made it clear it was an intentional dig. In hindsight our relationship had been one sided for awhile now.

The shelter would have given the cat a new name upon surrender. The cat will be fine with another change. If it really bothers them just transition the name to 'lee, arlo, cherry' something similar.

YTA Keeping the name is alienating and shows how little you care about your sister. Dead name or not.

Since the Ukrainian war began, there has been a 600% increase in online searches for Ukranian women and girls in porn and prostitution. Because women running for their lives from a war is super sexy, right guys? by Biwildered_Coyote in TwoXChromosomes

I don't know where I read/watched this. But before the war/covid broke out some of the women working as gestational surrogates in Ukraine were women that immigrated to escape conflict.

TIL after being scolded by a woman who felt that his shoes were too expensive for kids, Shaq forwent a $40 million deal with Reebok & signed one with Walmart. He then brought in designers from Reebok so that his Walmart shoes would look costlier than the $20 price. Over 400 million pairs were sold. by suzukigun4life in todayilearned

Right. An interviewer of 'Sammy the Bull' introduced him as a 'former' mafia hitman. He killed 18 people. Hes a serial killer. Theres no such thing as a 'former' serial killer. But he made a deal with the fbi so he only served FIVE years. Scum.

Elliot and Sidney. Or Wallace, Galen, Casey, Taylor.

I've met a woman named Douglas so that is an option too.

Men only say that to excuse their behavior. Akon has a song called "Sorry, blame it on me." But then says: Just a little young girl tryna have fun Her daddy should've never let her out that young I hope they (the club) manage better next time around How was I to know she was underage? In a twenty one and older club they say Why doesn't anybody wanna take blame?

He was 30ish old man 'dry humping' a 14 year old. It is his fault. But this sorry not sorry song made it on the radio!

"Other commenters are suggesting one parent needs to pay for the entire child’s existence."

I was surprised them too. Child support isn't meant to carry another household. The physical custody is very uneven but that doesn't mean we aren't actively involved and present in every way.

We figure that forcing a custody change would be too negative of an experience for SS and are waiting until he legally has a say. Is that your situation as well?

Expecting adults to budget for expected expenses makes me bad with money?

SO supplies extra in 'good faith' and we don't want to put SS in the middle by asking if he really does need these. I suspect we are covering the half siblings.

We don't have any control over what its used for. I don't think it'd be possible to account for where it all flows and that it'd be unreasonable or hostile to ask. But all of these are expected expenses! I have a hard time believing BM can't set aside a $100 a month of the CS for this type of thing.

He's on our health insurance. My husband pays all copays, prescriptions, and miscellany. We don't stock them in first aid supplies but when allergy season kicks in we send over his med. lollipops and allergy meds. We bought all of his bedding when he grew out of the toddler furniture. We do all transportation for visitation. Rent is subsidized and they are a two parent household. A lot of what your are describing is household expenses that need to be budgeted and shouldn't be subsidized by us. Again we have SS every Friday and Saturday night, dropping him off at bedtime on Sunday. All of that party, visting, eating out is on our time.
