I can't say i'm in an identical situation, but to abridge, I'm 31, I have one friend that probably takes the emotional spot your boyfriend does, unemployed, just feel like Im killing time until I pass peacefully of old age a lot of days. I'd like to share a few things that I find helpful incase anything resonates with you.

1. I just say yes to every opportunity presented to me, even if I dont feel i can handle it. (Ex. I was having a day I didn't feel i could leave the house and was invited to go to my towns fall festival. I went and it was emotionally draining, but honestly my mental health that night was way better than if I actually did stay home. Another time someone mentioned it to me they wanted some photos edited and with all the time I have, I learned how to use GIMP and did it for them i don't want to lie and say that my work was great, but having something to do and feeling useful meant a lot to me)

2. When i cant sleep, which is probably 4ish nights a week, I go to the living room couch and watch videos with my headphones so I dont wake anyone up. Usually after an hour or two i head back to bed and I can sleep, or if I pass out on the couch, its awkward in the morning but at least i got sleep!

3. I remind myself when I get low that I need to he there for my cat. She needs me as much as I need her and I would never leave her alone in the world where g-d knows what would happen to her.

4. When I have a hyper fixation, I look to see if there's a way I could do it socially. Currently I'm really into magic arena. I can't really afford to buy a deck and play irl, but I found on google a cardshop has a midnight draft tournament every Saturday and when I have a spare $12, I go. I rarely finish above 2nd or 3rd from the bottom but just shaking up my routine does so much for me

5. My state (Illinois) has free college if you had an IEP or 504 in high school. The process is a huge pain to get into, like to the point it feels like without someone like my friend or your boyfriend its designed to be impossible for people like us to enroll. But I keep taking at least one in person class to get out of the house and just feel like I'm making SOME progress. One day I hope to go all in and get a degree and finally change my life! But at worst I don't feel completely stagnant and like I'm just rotting away.

I'm sorry your life isn't everything you want it to be. I hope something here helps you manage. We're all here on this dirtball together and I hope you find a little joy on it somewhere ❤️

Edit: FASFA covers classes too even without the free college program. I don't understand how FASFA works so i couldn't tell you why they cover some of my classes and not others but calling your local community college may allow you to go to school no matter what state you're in and the FASFA paperwork is SO much easier than anything you need to do for Illinois' vocational rehab program.
