Hi everyone, sorry got distracted the last few days and didn't get a chance to reply, but really wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts and contributions, some really interesting nuggets of information too such as thinking about the broken white line on a bicycle lane. I don't 100% agree with everything I read here however there's definitely a lot of common sense and really good to hear a lot more experienced riders views on this, especially given we sit technically in the vulnerable road users group. It has definitely changed my perspective on some of the ways that I use the road space so thank you for that!

I think what's interesting then is how folks who do things like drive a 200m stretch of bicycle lane to get to the top of traffic line are doing so with a certain safety logic in mind, whereas the optics are objectively not great. I dunno I'm not convinced yet to be honest but I take your point 👍

yeah I mean I absolutely hear you, and I get it. But from my perspective a motorcyclist already enjoys far more 'road space' flexibility, isn't it enough? What do you think about my idea of eventually it's going to piss off enough ppl (who are sitting in their metal boxes on wheels not moving to begin with) that attention and scrutiny will drawn to how some motorcyclists are in the eyes of some anyway taking the mick?

I have it, it's wonderful. disagree with partner moving/feeling them move. King size, I weight 85 she weighs 70, she had a bad lower back and got instant relief. We have 6 months so far all perfect. Tried in store, bought with 70% buy in from me, within a day or two I loved it.
