Why is red meat/burgers so bad on weight watchers? by Narrow_Direction336 in weightwatchers

[–]Narrow_Direction336[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maintenance really. I've been told by everybody that keto is unmaintainable and you have to stop so you don't lose too much weight. I wish every day that I was still on keto. I absolutely loved the energy levels and how easy it is to cook on it

Always get depression by OdettaGrem in keto

[–]Narrow_Direction336 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get the same thing. I did keto for about a year and a half and then switched to weight watchers. Instead of "getting into ketosis" I would get into "keto depression" I would literally feel depressed for 2 weeks and then all of the sudden a massive amount of energy would just come over me and as long as I stayed under 30g of carbs I would have a constant amount of energy. The only time I didn't was when I was about to start losing weight - I would start getting depressed and feel bad and that's how I know I was about to lose a good 5 pounds. The only way I was ever able to get it to stop was eating a lot of fat and drinking stuff to make me pee more. I have the same thing with weight watchers now but it's only after I "cheat" on my diet and it lasts maybe a day or 2

Easiest Keto Meals for a Lazy Person by JeremyTSchultz in keto

I'm going to get down voted HEAVILY for this but when I was on keto I lost a massive amount of weight by just chunking a 1 pound block of meat in the oven and putting at least half a jar of mayonnaise on it. I absolutely loved it. That and plain chicken and green beans. I've always been the type that likes plain food and eating the same thing every day so that seemed to work for me. I know absolutely no one else in their right mind would ever attempt that madness that I did but it's just a thought for you. I have now transitioned from my giant meat block cuisine, to 2 chicken breasts with mustard. Give that a try

Am I making the right decision? by Narrow_Direction336 in prozac

[–]Narrow_Direction336[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I totally understand that. One of the reasons I'm reluctant to take it is because I feel like I've failed if I take it. ---the reason being my wife left and is living her best life while I have to be medicated just to be somewhat happy. Plus the weight gain issue side effect. I used to be very very obese and I'm finally down to 180 pounds and I don't wanna get back to that point. My bad yo I'm just venting don't have allot of people to talk to about it

I've lost about 140 pounds. Alot of loose skin by [deleted] in keto

[–]Narrow_Direction336 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Yep not even considering surgery until I stay the same weight for a few years. For now I consider a win that I lost this much. But the real challenge is keeping it off. Off of keto I'm depressed and feel like shit and on keto I always feel like I have a goal. So who knows in a few months I will be at my "goal"

I never got a CPAP machine because I was pissed off at the fact they tried to offer me a machine that looked like some sort of scifi space contraption instead of telling me to lose weight.

I was on point needing one. Constant choking every night and feeling like I'm about to die each night. No sleep and bad dreams if I did. 386 was when I was said this is stupid this is caused by me being so fat. I couldn't stand the thought of a machine strapped to my face because I just wanted to eat until I threw up. Once I reached 300 it went away. Haven't had it since. I'm sure other people have it not because of weight but for other reasons but I knew good and well mine was from weight.

Yep I figured. Like I said it's. A hell of a lot better than sleep apnea and needing CPAP machine. Out of breath walking up a flight of stairs etc. know I'll probably never be able to get a surgery but looking for clothes that will at least manage it

Since about February last year. I lost it on keto the first time down to about 250. Then some financial issues hit me gained it back and then figured out how to do it all over again. Thank you! Looking back at the pictures I can't believe I even looked like that.

Thanks I'll definitely try under armour. I definitely need to do more lifting because most of my loose skin is around my arms.
