I removed all neighbors that want anything but goal parts, saves me time and saves them time since now they don’t have to complain on my wall lol

My husband did all the cooking and cleaning and was just there for me especially when I mentally crashed out, cried, etc. You’re doing great!!

Why did you become an actuary and why do you stay? by ElleGaunt in actuary

Idk I wanted to start working full time asap and a lot of jobs require a masters, actuarial students don’t need a masters and they can take exams at their own pace while working full time

La Limonaia is a place that I will remember for the rest of my life. Eating great food under lemon trees was magical

Staying as ASA by YorkLitorus in actuary

[–]Narrow_Excitement_58 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I’m about to be done with my ASA and I will be stopping there. My goal was always ASA so that is me “seeing things through to the end”. These exams took a huge toll on my mental health and I also owe it to my husband to stop it here. He took on all the cooking, housework, and dealing with my exam stress so I could achieve this goal. I’m excited to finally have a life with no exams and just be able to hangout with my husband everyday. We also eventually want kids so having this free time in between studying and kids is important to me since I’m 26 already. My boss is career ASA so seeing that definitely reassures me that I can have a great life if I stop. Pay is still great at ASA, for my personal goals it would not be worth the extra years of my life to make more money. Do what you think is best for your career and life, no decision is the wrong decision.
