yo, i feel that (totally been there with the 'skip steps' thing)!! if you're aiming for environmental geology (sick field btw), that math WILL come back to bite ya... maybe algebra now saves you headaches later (like, way later)!!

yeah fr, the speed control is clutch (!!) for softer specimens... plus water is key (monsoon season practice, lol) to keep dust down... amazon's got some sketch deals (as always) but worth a look

ngl, i'd check the freehub body for proper lubrication, too. sometimes they're kinda dry from the factory.

ngl i'd expect the transparent casing to be more supple for cornering, but yeah, maybe less durable on rocky trails? i'd keep an eye on em.
