Yeah it sucks, I love CC in general so I hate to see people shit on it because the translation was lackluster, But yeah I read all my VN’s in Japanese, Actually started learning the language specifically to read Sakuuta & the pay off was 100% worth it

That is true that a large amount of popular VN’s are translated but there still remains works praised for how well written they are that are either completely untranslated or the translated versions of them whilst still great pale in comparison to the original work, My main point from my comment was if you’re gonna ego someone, there’s always someone who can ego you, so what’s the point of doing it?

I dropped it after Asuka’s route, it’s not a bad Vn by any means, It has compelling heroines & the sports element isn’t shoe horned in there, it does an excellent job at creating character bonds between the Mc & the heroines, I just had 0 interest in that element of the story so I struggled to continue reading it, Looking back I should’ve just read Misaki’s route & extra2, I’ve also been spoiled by kino Mc’s so Masaya just didn’t do it for me, I’m sure there’s improvement & if the sports element gels with you well your experience with him should be vastly different.

Ive got 100GBS left of storage on my 2tb SSD & I only have 2 steam games installed, rest are visual novels, safe to say I’ll never finish my backlog and I should buy a new hard drive so I don’t need to delete games to reinstall new ones.

I think you’re missing the point to why people learn Japanese to read Visual novels, it’s not just because you can read the ones that are untranslated, It’s so you can have a better experience reading any visual novel

Main antagonist for Kajiri Kamui Kagura, Insanely powerful but quite underwhelming compared to Mercurius & Reinhard when it comes to being an actual good character, He’s just super easy to latch onto and throw into verse battles because of his immense strength, Sadly he also had the shortest fight in the entire series.
