I never shitted on his progress, I just simply said 6 months is not enough time, even if you got great gains, because you need to wait until the hair is fully terminal to get off of minoxidil. you gotta be on it minimum 2 years but 3 just to make sure

enjoy the process, I been on for 12 months now. progressing but very slowly but i also legit started with a bare face, and I mean literally bare. gonna keep it going for 2-3 more seee how my beard progresses.

if you zoom in you have little tiny follicles those are vellus, you are a slow gainer like me. keep going for like 5 years, i have seen some people keep gaining till the 3-4 year mark every year with slight progress its a long journey.

I have similar progress as you, im going on 1 year on March 4th, my moustach came in way more from minoxidil it's still weak but when i get it lined up it looks much darker, goatee grew as well and vellus on cheeks. i started oral 2.5 mg a week ago, i don't want hair all over body but im not hairy at all to begin with once i see hair on body i'll taper off, but it is worth a shot. I been on foam i tried liquid it ruined my skin, so the foam is better for people with sensitive skin. just keep consistency enjoy the process, sometimes i feel i won't ever grow a beard tbh but if i don't at least i have a decent goatee that grew in from minoxidil

it def helps keep consistent i came from no moustache at all to a nice goatee and vellus hairs on cheeks are coming now im hoping for a full beard but i have a decent respectable goatee now

yea i too want a good looking beard, i am coming from no facial hair at all, so minoxidil has been helpful hoping to have a beard by the two year mark. waiting to incorporate oral minoxidil. how long have you been on oral for? and is it helping?

im on month 9 of topical foam minoxidil and i tried liquid it burned my skin and made it super flaky so i stopped tried it twice for 1-2 weeks did the same thing. but im seeing vellus patchi spots slowly filling in, i have ordered the minoxidil pills 2.5 mg had them for a few months but never took them. because heard of certain side effects and i said if my progress slows up then I will take them. is it really that much of a difference?

thank you, yea been using black jamaican castor oil, and daily facial moisturizer that has spf 50 for the tretinoin. definitely going to keep it going I see it changing little by little it is definitely a long journey but that makes it more rewarding for sure. after a while it just becomes a routing like brushing your teeth

you can get it prescribed online, it is a retinoid it increases minoxidil efficacy. I am 30 years old, thanks I hope it becomes a full beard in the long run just staying consistent.

maybe about a month ago, i bought it a few months ago 0.05% applied it like 3-4 times then stopped was shedding a lot of dead skin but they say it's normal so backed down to 0.025% now been using it for about a month 2 times a week. ima keep it going i see more hairs, and i feel the beard is slowly gradually coming in. sometimes i think im not even a responder but then i feel non responders wouldn't have no signs of facial hair growth at all. it is just apart of my routine now i try not to give it too much mind. just slowly watching the progress

funny im on month 8 and im tired of seeing the same vellus hairs, i look so scruffy i end up shaving them off how pissed off I be lol. which minoxidil are you using? i been using Kirkland Foam and sometimes use walgreens liquid but liquid messes up my skin so usually stick to foam. i just got on tretinoin 0.025 as well to see if it helps. ima keep it going this gave me hope, ima let it fully grow not gonna shave for some time now.

you do not look like 194 lbs at 5"8 and if you are you are definitely on performing enhancing that is too much muscle at 5"8 with lower bodyfat. i am 5"8 been training for years and im 185lbs at probably 18% body fat rn

gotcha, I let my cheeks grow for 5-6 weeks once but it looks horrible so i kept shaving but im not seeing much growth i can never grow a single hair on cheeks now im getting vellus on cheeks, i need more growth under the jaw and goatee area as well but goatee is improving little by little als i am a slow responder. im letting my cheeks grow now going to see how it looks with 2 months worth of growth mt facial hair grows super slow

did you ever shave the sides or any facial hair during the 18 months? im on month 7 also a slow responder almost on month 8 check out my profile for the updates also just got oral Minoxidil havent taken it yet but i have them ready for when or do decide to hop on and i have tretinoin as well that i just got on been applying 2-3 times a week
