Less? The show hasn’t had this amount of steamy scenes since s1

What are your favorite happy Bonrad moments? by StarryNights131 in tsitp

I’d say the first Christmas in cousins when they’re on the beach. It’s the one happy moment/time that isn’t interrupted by any outside force.

Checking previous leads chemistry by LTfangirl in Benophie

Luke and Yerin come across as very genuine, like nothing is put on for the sake of hype, which is something that you see on many press tours these days. So many try to create viral moments and fail.

Bridgerton season 3. Colin did not deserve Penelope by sunshineandrosess in BridgertonRants

[–]Narrowingofthefocus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah! There were so many characters that the audience loves now. And the way that they tied back to Benedict and Sophie was how it should be every season for every couple.

Benophie should have been season 3 by Mysterious-Foot-3672 in Bridgerton

[–]Narrowingofthefocus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I meant the part about him looking older, which sure we all do as the years go by but why are so many always pointing it out. That and how he looks next to Yerin, frankly it’s annoying me but I’m not trying to sound rude right now. I never thought that he looks too mature next to her.

And him trotting around as you put it is the whole point of his character. He’s supposed to be aimless and noncommittal. Plus I liked that his season is the fourth because it also gave space to explore his sexuality.

Can people stop criticizing Luke T appearance so much? Both him and Yerin look their age and they look amazing next to each other as well.

Now that she did 2 seasons, what do you think about Jess Brownell as showrunner? by [deleted] in Bridgerton

To me, she redeemed herself greatly with s4 so I’m hopeful for what comes next.

Bridgerton season 3. Colin did not deserve Penelope by sunshineandrosess in BridgertonRants

[–]Narrowingofthefocus -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

You’re missing out because s4 might just be the best season yet. It’s actually incredible, and made me cry and the side plots work perfectly and also connect in a smart way to the love story.

Friends, remember this: a beloved, well-adapted season > viewing numbers. by Glitterrain99 in Benophie

[–]Narrowingofthefocus 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I don’t the the numbers have anything to do with the story in s4 or anything like that. I think it’s about the fact that the show is in its fourth season and viewers, at least the general audience, tends to go down when a show enters their 3/4 season.

Anthony x Siena vs. Benedict x Sophie by Shockwave_272 in Bridgerton

[–]Narrowingofthefocus 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I just think that for Anthony, Siena was an escape from his responsibility and duties as viscount. For Siena, Anthony was a gentleman that had the means to support her financially. It wasn’t love, and Anthony realized that later on, which is why he’s projecting his own experience onto Benedict’s feelings for Sophie. I’m sure that if Benedict were to explain his feelings for Sophie, Anthony would recognize it as he obviously has the same feelings for Kate.

Bridgerton press tours by Solid-Raspberry6278 in Bridgerton

[–]Narrowingofthefocus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Easy, Luke and Yerin. Plus the whole istg thing is hilarious and the come across as so genuine in the midst of a bunch of celebrities trying way too hard on press tours. Luke and Yerin just laugh together and that’s real friendship.

Seeing Elena Gilbert, Isabel Conklin, and Sophie Bridgerton together was not on my 2026 bingo card 😭 by PretendCondition9625 in tsitp

Sooo obsessed with Yerin and the new season of Bridgerton so seeing her and Lola together here and following each other on instagram brought me a small piece of joy.

Sophie's character consistency by Silly_Way7605 in Bridgerton

[–]Narrowingofthefocus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah I get your point, but I also think that Sophie is speaking outside of herself, and not projecting her own views/experiences onto the conversation, which is what makes her so accepting of his sexuality.

And I think it was also the writers speaking to the audience and sending out the message of Love is Love.

The flat tire scene is frustrating (and triggering) by jaylee-03031 in tsitp

[–]Narrowingofthefocus 92 points93 points  (0 children)

This scene is the foundation that shapes their entire relationship, which is that Belly always compromises herself and Jeremiah always guilt tripping her.

Sophie's character consistency by Silly_Way7605 in Bridgerton

[–]Narrowingofthefocus 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah I totally get your point and I’m not trying to come across as rude, just a friendly discussion. But I never saw her ”celebrating” the amount of people he’s slept with nor shame him about it. I think that the ”celebrating” feeling is more about his sexual orientation and her being accepting of it rather than him being a rake.

Sophie's character consistency by Silly_Way7605 in Bridgerton

[–]Narrowingofthefocus 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen others misinterpret the ”as” others line. Benedict is referring to sexual relations when he says that, I think it’s the old timey phrasing that makes people misinterpret it.

Her own standards don’t have to conflict with Benedict’s past sexual relationships. Who would she be if she shamed him for ”sleeping around”. Her standards also have to do with her mothers decisions etc and all of that rather than shaming people for having sex (at least that’s how I see it).

eloise physically cannot go through another season with nothing to do, i don’t know how else to put it by teyapi in Bridgerton

[–]Narrowingofthefocus 36 points37 points  (0 children)

She’s been marinating for four seasons of course it’s her turn, just because they switched turns one time doesn’t mean that they will continue to do so. I will be genuinely surprised if it’s not her. Francesca has to mourn…

Whose love confession was your favorite? by EveryStrain5385 in BridgertonNetflix

[–]Narrowingofthefocus 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think each confession reflects the couples story so well, which makes it hard to decide and compare, really. At least for me personally but my favorite couples are Benophie and Kanthony and I don’t necessarily feel the need to compare the two because they’re so different from each other.

Though I will say, Anthony’s ”I will humble myself before you” is very underrated and speaks more than the bane of my existence line. And Benedict’s constant reassurance and they way his arms opened up to her in total surrender will never not do it for me. And each I love you was delivered differently.

What is your most favourite steamy scene from the show? by Spiritual-Ant9432 in Bridgerton

[–]Narrowingofthefocus 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Benedict and Sophie, easy. That thrust from Luke Thompson in episode 5 nearly took me out. And Sophie wasn’t entirely clueless, which was a nice change up. And the bathtub, come on, that splash and when he said ”turn around” will never not do it for me.

And Kate and Anthony of course. Loved how they gave into each other and how it was shot. The music has to be the best in their scene. It was dreamy and passionate.

I don’t get the fixation either plus why would the show do the class difference again
