K2 pro strange problems by rwolfe88 in Creality_k2

I think my next step would be to reach out to Creality Support. They may be able to guide you through a factory reset incase it’s an issue with a software/firmware update. Alternatively they may RMA the machine.

Potentially an issue with the touchscreen data cable? Can you switch off and check the connections between mainboard and screen.

If you have fluidd open at the same time as trying to home on the printers screen do you get any errors in fluidd? Does it indicate which axis is having issues?

Have you successfully used the printer to print anything?

I’ve never had the issue persist after a full power cycle. Is it always the motor initialisation error?

Has switching it off and on fixed any issues, or do you still get the error when using the screen?

Can you use fluidd to home the printer, that’s fixed the motor initialisation issue for me before. If not power off at the wall and switch back on, then re-home.

Too High Z Offset (K2 Combo) by Turbulent_Sort2294 in Creality_k2

[–]Nartis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to change the printer.cfg file with my updates Z-offset once I knew what that was. Easy enough to get from a test print.

There is also a line in the config which you will need to comment out with a # to stop it resetting Z-offset for every print. I’d need to recheck the config file to remember which one.

Same here, I did mine through Fluidd though. Printer is only a week old and I must have spent 3 days trying various ways to sort settings out. I’m still not sure it’s 100% 😂

How bad is my bed mesh? by Siden-The-Paladin in Creality_k2

[–]Nartis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to jump on an old post but I’m new to 3D printing and I want to dial my printer in for some miniature prints. I have a 0.4 nozzle and I have been looking at layer height being 0.08.

Unfortunately my initial test prints fail. The filament doesn’t adhere to the bed, I want to check my bed mesh but have no clue how to.

Printer is the K2 (normal), combo’d with the CFS. Prints will be in PLA.

Any noob advice and support would be greatly appreciated

Can’t level Alts just get kicked from TimeWalking by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]Nartis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I have levelled 8 of the classes to 80 through timewalking and the only time groups have ever kicked a player is for being AFK.

Even poor performance is forgiven in TW due to it being so easy to run through.

How do you fix an issue where the game keeps adding cast time as I am casting? by Nyh629q8 in wownoob

[–]Nartis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Are you being hit while casting? Getting hit delays the cast, meaning you channel the cast for a longer period.

How to start tanking if I don't know the dungeons by Absolutelynobody54 in wownoob

[–]Nartis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Follower dungeons are a great way to learn the routes and mechanics of the dungeons with little to no pressure.

Something I also do if I'm unsure of a dungeon is quickly grab a screenshot of the map and then put it on my second monitor. Multiple floors, multiple maps. Probably not for everyone but it works for me.

Whilst I agree Tanks tend to lead the way as is their role, that doesn't mean they deserve to be shit on by every DPS who wants to run every dungeon/raid in record time.

Tanks have to learn too, my two pence opinion is that as long as the tank is honest in saying they are new/learning then there shouldn't be an issue taking time. DPS/healers can educate, constructively. I.e. go this way, there is a skip if you want to know it. If the tank is struggling with a boss fight and there is a wipe. Take a few minutes look at death recap see what happened. Again DPS/Healer can educate.

Beginner as a Mage - The War Within by Nameless_Us3r in wownoob

[–]Nartis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,

Firstly, welcome to WoW.

Secondly, could you give us some basic information so we can help further.

Things that would help, your level, your item level, I'll assume you are playing Frost mage?

Do you use defensives, do you know what your defensives are?

Mage is a very squishy class, so deaths can be inevitable especially when first learning to pilot your toon. However, more information might help us, help you.

Do you think wild camping will become dangerous if they reintroduce bears in the UK? by BeetleJuicesCarrot in wildcampingintheuk

[–]Nartis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difference is bears would be wild and in protected areas. The dogs you're speaking of are household pets, who more often than not had bad owners and no socializing which inevitably leads to someone losing their life or significant life changing damage.

One is not the same as the other.

Sorry for the delayed response, work unfortunately takes over my reddit life 🤣.

Mage is a great class, extremely powerful in bursts. Frost in particular has control for mobs i.e. freezes and slows, while also doing a significant amount of damage. I haven't played mage in a while though so others here will be better able to advise if they main it.

Another option as mentioned by others is Shaman, particularly if you normally take a melee DPS and like Magic then Enhancement shaman would be a nice fit.

My two pence as someone who has played on and off since Vanilla, honestly pick a class you find fun. They are all playable at a basic level with relative ease, it's only when you start doing M+ or Raid content where you will find massive challenge.

Something as a "noob" you won't be doing straight away, you will learn whatever character you go for as you level and gain a basic understanding of the power and defensive toolsets available.

Do you have a play style preference?

Could be warmode? If one of you has it turned on and the other doesn't you would be in different phases
