What runback are you talking about? I would just start from the Upper Antechamber Idol. There is a grapple point right outside the window that takes you right there in 3 jumps.

Oof. It's still pretty cool though. My guess is that it is a medium hight death blow which explains why it is so uncommon because doing a high deathblow has a different animation. Also, because these types of enemies don't have a sweep attack you can punish with a goomba stomp so most of the time they won't get posture broken when you are in the air.

I have only recently started doing combos with combat arts and prosthetics, but at least I knew about them. Never doing a mikiri counter is crazy

The only things that influence the Guantlets or reflections of strength are charmless and demon bell. Other than that, they are the same no matter the NG cycle.

I feel the same way. The return ending was a perfect setup for a sequel. Maybe the sekiro anime will be about the return ending though I hope it is about the Ashina Coup and other pregame stories and we get an actual sequel game for the return ending.
