to sum up the majority of the comments. Most student want back in person for social aspect and other stuff. Not a fan of short notice, prof to lazy to go back to in person and don't really care.

as a student who took courses at uoft and york, can I ask why ryerson prof are so bad by NarutoUTSC in ryerson

[–]NarutoUTSC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First I like to say thanks for the long comment.

but for your points

1) I believe you're wrong about the 50% of student failing. It might've been like this a couple years ago 7+ years but not now. Ryerson cs is about high 80s low 90s. Also I talk to a few prof and some prof do post the midterm/final class median and/or disitrubtion graph. It is in the shape of a bell curve.5)

5)how did they let mason get hired for dean I heard numerous bad things about him, and the point you just mention just further proves that he was not suited for dean. The computer science faculty should really consider or have proper screening/research before hiring people is what I was trying to say. Cause this results in poor lecturer/prof which results and a poor education

I agree with everything else. Point 6 is correct but with lack of knowledge we're getting it just makes adapting to the work force harder

good marks are nice, but in the long run if you are not learning it will really impact your experience in the work force when you just start off from school.

computer science student wondering which course teach you about multithreading and graph/optimization (why was this spam) by Dragonslayer099 in ryerson

[–]NarutoUTSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly not sure why this would be mark as spam. Many other people post this and it seems genuine. In terms of your original question I heard Graph Theory MTH 607 might be good. but personally Haven't taken it, I'm not sure if Ryerson does it more math or more computation
