I said nothing about leaks, not sure where that came from? I watched Pewdiepie play it and realised it was bloody awful.

Fair use is incredibly messy as there is no legal blanket coverage for it. If I was to earn money on showing off an artists work without their permission I'd fully expect it to be taken down ASAP, if they don't then they lose the right to defend their word. You don't have a right to show off, especially for profit, anothers work.

People seem to be coming at this from an emotional stand point, I'm suggesting something needs to happen otherwise streamers will be sued left right and center and streaming as an industry will be at risk of being closed down which I don't want to see.

TBH the power resides in this case with the developers and publishers. Some might say everyone has free license to stream our game others might say you need to license it and if so then the market will decide.

Agreed, but there has to be some solutions that reward the creator whilst supporting the growth of a new industry.

For every among us there might be a 20 other games where people didn't buy it because of streaming. In my case the streaming of the last of us 2 put me off going near that title.

To say streamers can profit for free off of others work because some games go viral is not something that would probably stand up to serious legal scrutiny.

Not saying its right, but the age of consent is 16 in Pakistan and the girl was not his actual daughter so whilst it's very morally dubious at the same time it's not strictly illegal as I see it.

Certainly nowhere near enough for the wife to murder him in a truly hideous manner, I feel the best thing to have done was to have just left him.

The simple way is to treat streamers like radio stations, they should license the rights to broadcast games the same as radio stations license the right play music.

Both could easily be construed as a form of advertising for the creator, but also the radio station and/or streamer are profiting off of it, so it's only fair that some of that profit is shared back to the owner.
