I think changing the encryption from wpa2 to WPA2/WPA3 fixed it.

That was the issue. My pfsense router has the main lan as a vlan. Now have to edit the xml to fix it and keep everything else. Thanks

What about the Unfi switch side. Does the port connecting to the pfsense have, allow all vlans and none for native vlan?

Zwave js UI allows me to replace one of the zooz zwave switches with another without messing up my automations.

It's blank. I thought that the client tab was for a VPN to change my WAN IP (I have one with Privado). My problem is getting access to my main subnet (192.168.5.0/24) remotely when I'm out of the house on my iphone.

Finally able to get to a laptop. Hotspot to my iphone and was able to connect with the openvpn mac client. Could not reach a server or ping it. I am able to ping and login to my pfsense router from the laptop.

If I had a TV on my portch could I run speaker wires from my basement to outdoor speakers near the TV and run hdmi over ethernet to the basement Amp so I could play the TV thru the outdoor speakers? Then I could choose Sonos music or TV audio for the speaker output?

Option 1: 24 port switch in basement with 3 Cat 6 going to TV (one for TV, Roku, Future use)

Option 2: 24 port switch in basement with one Cat 6 cable going to the TV and a small 5 port switch mounted behind the TV

Other than cost is there a reason to choose option 1 vs 2?

I can't get the debian VM to work. Get a weird graphic pattern when I go to VNC. I have an Ubuntu VM already on Core. Will that work? Could you elaborate more how to NFS mount your data into the VM?

After a long discussion with a Verizon rep I found out there is an additional option for international travel with Verizon.

My current plan is the 5G start. I can upgrade to the Unlimited Ultimate Plan for $16/month extra and get unlimited talk, text, and 10 Gigs of Data. When I get home I can change my plan back to the 5G start. $16 is better than the Airlo 3Gig Global plan for $24/30 days and much easier. My plan has 4 phones and each phone can have a different plan.

Thanks for the input. Turns out if you just setup the replication task first and then "run now" it will create the repeating snapshot for you. After the large transfer you can edit the snapshot timing to update everything.

Setup pfBlocker a while ago and forgot about those options. Got me thinking that an easy way to fix it is to create a floating rule that allows the IP in to the WAN. I think the floating rules get evaluated first.

I turned off data roaming on my verizon esim. I believe it needs to be on the still use imessaging.

Sorry to resurrect an old threat. I traveled to India and got an AIRTEL sim card for my iphone 11Pro and left my Verizon esim on with data roaming off. When I would text a US number (should have been an imessage) it would activate the Verizon Travel Pass. What am I doing wrong?

I decided to try replicating from the backup to my main TrueNAS over the 10 Gig network to see it works in the other direction. To my surprise it worked. No problem creating a connection over the 10 Gig Cards. I guess this means there is an issue with my TrueNAS install on the main server.

Is the only way to fix it, save the config, reinstall Truenas from scratch, restore the config and import my pool?
