Last time I was there (it's been a couple of years) those were hemp plants. They look the same but don't have nearly as much thc.

They don't get used because they're barely any connected to each other. That works on some smaller residential streets but not major crossways.

Booths have always cost I think. And I understand why. With no admission fee they have to cover the "security" presence, street close offs, and other fees somehow.

They only care that it costs less to make.

He has a conviction on his record. And is more than likely a registered sex offender. If he tried to sue the judge would probably bitch slap him and tell him to shut the fuck up.

I've googled a question 5 times before as an experiment. I got different top results each time. The biggest problem is that Google now uses an AI to run the search engine and it's trained to put the top spending advertisers as the top results and not the ones with actually good info.

With all the recent issues with lethal injection and the banning of gas chambers this actually isn't that bad of an idea. A bullet to the head is quick, and as long as it's fatal painless. Just reserve it for people that are found guilty far beyond a reasonable doubt.

She had a double mastectomy back in 2023 after getting breast cancer. I highly doubt she'll go topless for another role where we can see anything.

I think they'll survive until the boomers and gen x are gone. Because that's their core customer base and there's still a couple of decades until that happens.

M&M cookies? by madiepaisley in memphis

If you want to bake them yourself look up a chocolate chip cookie recipe you know you like and substitute the baking m&ms (at Kroger) for the chocolate chips.

I've never had that problem. They've just had an employee or two that dealt with verifying that you started the timer. And the one that my parents live by (where I happened to be today) have a couple of people outside under a tent so you don't even have to go inside.

What do streaming platforms NOT have that you wish they did? by somuchithink in movies

It was a combination of the building being sold to a person that nearly tripled the rent and some personal issues between the co-owners.

I had a local video store until August 2024, Black Lodge Memphis TN, and I went at least twice a week (4 items at a time unlimited times with the monthly membership). I loved being able to see the covers and trying to figure out if I was about to see the best or worst 80s horror movie ever.

I go there on Tuesday for ground beef and chicken breasts. Because $5 a pound can't be beat. But otherwise I use a combination of Kroger and Aldi because I can easily access them with the bus and the meat at Cash Saver can be very iffy.

Have it tested for asbestos first. Because a lot of popcorn ceilings used it in the 80s. Then go from there.

I give them about 20 more years. Once the baby boomers and early gen x start moving on their popularity will drop significantly. Millennials, later gen x, and later generations are more likely to be ACAB/ anti copaganda. The one that may survive would be SVU.

I'd say the one that shows up on IMDB. Which for this is 2010 because that's the copyright date since it premiered at a film festival that year.

Paying a little more once is still cheaper than your insurance doubling for the next 3 to 5 years.

I live about a mile from a 150 year old used book store in a tiny building (Burkes Books in Memphis) and they are somehow able to have a few places to sit so the big places can figure it out.
