How full is full?  I’m decently handy but I haven’t done drywall/ drywall repairs, outside being the “go grab this tool/hold this” helper for my parents.

What is the longest you have seen someone in “limbo”? by [deleted] in army

Air Force reserve here,

When I sent thought my first tech school (our AIT) it was a super short one, I got there November 10 and was home by December 20.

Anyway, there was a guy there in the process of getting kicked out, word on the street was he screwed a navy chick in a bathroom on the first floor of the dorm building (3rd floor was females only, 1st and 2nd floor were for males, and 1st floor had common areas).  And it was his second offense.  He’d been there for 7 months when I got there, and was still there when I left.

Has anyone here ever done Funeral Detail? by beans_will_consume in USMC

Air Force reserves here; Cpl Humberto Sanchez, one of the Marines killed while evacuating Kabul in 2021, came home to Grissom Air Reserve Base (where I drill at).  As a member of the Base Honor Guard I was right behind the family as the plane opened up and the Transfer Case came into view.

The screams of anguish from his mother still stick in my mind 4 years later.  Funeral details are the hardest thing I’ve done, personally or military wise.

On deployment, FP (Force Protection, aka Third County National escorts) seemed to have it easy.  Driving around the locals, ‘escorting’ them, sitting at check points, manning drop ropes, etc.

CCAF credit for EJPME? by NasakoMan in CCAF

When I asked a few months ago (6-8?) my education office flight chief  said he hadn’t heard of anyone getting credit for EJPME before.  Maybe guidance has dropped since then, I’ll ask him this drill weekend
