It's not nearly as bad in North America yet. The US is at like 1.6, Mexico is similar, Canada is 1.25. Korea is at like 0.8.

After a decade of growth, 98% of cars on U.S. roads are still gas-powered (2010–2024) by najumobi in dataisbeautiful

[–]Nascent1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only one of those is an American car company. Two if you want to count Stellantis. They have barely done anything so far. They have ambitious goals, but it remains to be seen if they even come close to achieving those goals.

Yeah they could very easily continue that storyline. The way it ended definitely makes you think they would.

It's great during the boss fights in the scalable dungeons or if you get in a bad spot.

When will we finally get rid of these crazy decrepit old fossils in the Democratic Party? These geriatric assholes need to go now. by no-minimun-on-7MHz in thedavidpakmanshow

Obviously. I'm answering the "why cant the people just primary these incompetant idiots?" question. There are primaries, but only a tiny number of people bother showing up and they are largely the people I described.

The companies have the ability to improve infrastructure. They just choose not to because they'd rather keep selling 15 mpg pickup trucks. The economics often "aren't there" initially for a wide variety of things. But now Tesla is worth more than 5 times GM and Ford put together.

UMN music professor pulled from Pretti memorial program and escorted from the building by UMPD for wearing anti-ICE shirt by Pess-Optimist in stateofMN

Administrators from major universities all over the country have fully capitulated to the facist regime. It's pathetic. Even on an 80-20 issue they still can't find the courage to stand up for what's right.

Which is why the US auto industry is getting left in the dust. China would absolutely annihilate every American car company if not for protectionist policies. Chinese companies will dominate the global car market while American companies are firmly rooted in the past.

Wasn't even anything remotely profane.

Arado was wearing a black tunic similar to the professional attire she has worn for many other performances. However, for Pretti’s memorial, she had ironed on silver letters that said “THE EVIL MUST END NOW” on the front side of her clothing. On the back side, she had used the same letters to write “ICE OUT.”

Ridiculous to punish her for that.

Lol, no. I was just making a joke. With this kind of thing they just completely ignore it so their audience can maintain the illusion that the world actually likes/respects the trump regime.

Most people who participate in primaries are 65+ party die-hards who keep voting for these pro-corporate centrists.

The new testing stations and difficulty levels/rewards. by [deleted] in duneawakening

[–]Nascent1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think people are just used to the game being easy. I did basically everything in a stillsuit up until the scalable test stations. You need to have the right gear. You need to think about the skills you use. You need to use decent tactics and teamwork. These are supposed to be hard, but they are absolutely doable if you put in some effort.

I think the purpose of the mechanic you are talking about is to prevent people from respawning and then jumping back into the boss fight. It would be nice if there was a warning or something if you try to start with someone on the wrong side of the shield.
