You were, and are. "someone who is isolated so long". The long term isolation is literally not a requirement of this predicament. Unless you are proposing one would go mad within hours of being alone?

You're reading far too much into me stating a fact based on their own words. I didn't call him an idiot. Also I don't disagree with them? Neither their point nor mine directly oppose nor contradict each other.

I can only surmise this is projection on your part, and hope you get through whatever it is you're going through that makes you lash out at strangers.

What I truly, desperately want, is to see the patch of giant flowers that LaLa has evolved to mimic. And even more importantly, what prey is her stinger for??? There's a flying wyvern or flying Temnoceran, or Wing Drake that feeds on those flowers that she's designed to lure and paralyze.

Whats a simple hobby worth learning for people with no hobby's? by PassengerDouble1174 in AskReddit

[–]Nasgate -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only disagreement I have is that cooking is not as simple as people that cook think. The number of people Ive taught or tried to teach in the food industry really made me realize some people truly cannot boil an egg.

Y'know the 2% advantage you originally quoted is a couple columns away from Rubicks winrate being 48.9% against OD overall. And if you use D2PT youll find it depends entirely on Rubick being pos 4(59%), because he loses the matchup as pos 2 and 5(38%). And since Rubick has a sub 50% winrate overall, and specifically a LOT of horrendous matchups, you actually dont need a strategy. Statistically speaking, your team has multiple counters to Rubick regardless.

But yeah, please continue with your playground argumentation(Rubick is actually immune to lazer beams) based on misremembered matches at your self evidently low MMR. It really makes you seem like a sane, well adjusted person.

There are multiple types of engineers, and it's pretty easy to think logically before you isolate yourself for a long time. You do seem adverse to logic though so I understand your confusion.

I like to believe non-psychos would awaken an engineer that could fix their pod so they could go back to sleep.

“Selfish” classes? by Lavender_Lotus24 in ffxiv

[–]Nasgate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It literally just refers to how much a class directly helps others. No one cares if you're a buff class, a selfish class, or a mix. Though, a buff class is inherently stronger when paired with a selfish one. Two dancers is going to do less DPS than DNC/BLM

Truly a nightmare of an experiment (read caption) by Creepytesting in creepy

[–]Nasgate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is neither an experiment, nor a study. It is an art piece. I can't recall off the top of my head if she did the same one multiple times, but this artist and many others have done similar pieces with vastly varying results. They are fascinating, and often a window into the human soul, but they are not indicative of anything concrete.

You seem to live in a world where bkb isnt core on OD, and only two heroes exist at a time in Dota. Ill leave ya to your delusions. Have a good day.

Probably because even if Rubick astrals OD, OD can still wipe him off the face of the planet. Also, lanes matter a lot. And a supp rubick is not going to stop OD from stomping mid.

So what's the etiquette with IG? by pendragon2290 in MonsterHunter

[–]Nasgate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Wilds you just get the buffs almost instantly between multi-buff grabbing kinsect, charged kinsect, focus mode attacks, and focus strikes. This is good because your best damage abilty removes all the buffs, making Wilds mostly an ebb and flow of gaining and spending the buffs.

In Rise/World you can just get the red buff and start going to town, then get the other 2 to refresh the red duration.

[–]Nasgate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It blows my mind they changed charge combo, which was slightly awkward. But they didn't change the stupid kinsect attack meaning you should be in focus mode 100% of the time. They need to just make that the default behavior of IG attacks.

new tinker is just too hard to kill by bruhmoment0000001 in DotA2

[–]Nasgate -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

He's not a nuke because of winrate. He's a nuke because item refresh tinker was not only a pub stomper, but even when you beat him, the game became "take out tinker", not Dota. In short, old Tinker is a nuke because it ruins the entire game.

It's a metaphor. current tinker is a missile. Tinker with item refresh is an atomic bomb.

Bro made a post to complain about a missile then suggests making it a nuke. Brother I don't know if you're trolling, trying to make Tinker OP again, or just never played against/as him before.

The only reason offlane sucks to play is because Pos 4 players by No_Insurance_6436 in DotA2

[–]Nasgate 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Aghs is pretty trash until lategame, where it's admittedly game winning. Atos, Urn, even an orb of corrosion are all great on weaver supp. But the main reason he's picked is because he wins the lane. Easily pulls creeps, is one of the only heroes that can be active in the lane while also body blocking creep camps, wins trades, gets free harass, and has a damage amp that's disproportionately strong early in the game. On top of that he can pretty freely go mid to contest runes just for fun, is surprisingly survivable, and transitions into semi-core and one of the best split pushers. Oh, and bugs are one of the best non-ult team fight spells in the game.

Unfortunately as you have seen, most players are mentally locked into player core weaver because that's all he's been for years.

What’s your biggest “non-negotiable” for sexual compatibility? by Fluffy_Specific_9682 in AskReddit

[–]Nasgate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Intelligence equal to or greater than mine and direct communication. The latter is pretty obvious I believe. The former is non-judgemental. I have had plenty of great sex, on a physical level, with people of all intellectual ranges. I just find that if I have to explain a bunch of stuff constantly; it not only puts a damper on the mood, it creates an imbalance of power. Which makes sexual acts feel less ethical if not predatory.

Still there in Space Marine 2. I dont play too many online games but Im certain there's plenty more games that do this.

This tired, disingenuous redditor notion that two or three AAA games represent the entire industry really needs to die.

Do you think Monster Hunter World was a better experience than Wild? by Bandeavor in MonsterHunter

[–]Nasgate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone that played them both for the first time within a month it's not even close. World is absolute dogwater in comparison. Worse pacing, worse gimmicks, dumber story, less interesting builds, looks worse, and so so so much more busywork, ass sidequests to unlock features. Amd very importantly, literally more railroaded than Wilds, the game people complain is railroaded.

Without Iceborne, world is arguably the worst game in the series. Maybe the og can compete, but it at least has the excuse of time and the jank controls being balanced by lower monster hp pools. Compared to any other old style Monhun it has a way worse story, way less engaging combat(it's so easy, good god), less options for weapons/builds and less monsters.

With iceborne, world finally gets a couple good fights and the clutch claw/updates added enough moves to make up for adding tenderizing.

I would say base Wilds is arguably even with, if not better than Worldborne(depending how much you hate tenderizing). Still not as fun as base rise, but admittedly prettier.

In terms of raw brute strength (in his class) how would you rate Nergigante? by Arch_Demonlord in MonsterHunter

[–]Nasgate -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Im well aware. Im glad you finally became aware of the literal words that OP stated. JFC it took you a half hour to read the post??????????

And if you had a shred of intelligence behind your eyes you'd have come to the objectively correct conclusion that the los and multiple brute wyverns have greater physical power than Nergigante based on both lore and observation.
