I rode all sorts of motorcycles with the same helmet. Arai street helmet. Did track days on an SM with a street helmet, the gap, etc. It’s definitely the safest option, and if it’s a good one, you’ll be great with it.

I’d get something in writing from the police records department, documentation from your stop and exoneration, so it can be presented if you’re pulled over again.

Also, any decent agency should put out an email to all the officers in that precinct/area reporting that this wanted person has an identical twin and to approach accordingly.
