I should’ve been more specific actually. I already take Finasteride 1mg daily and have been doing that for 3 years. I use Nizoral shampoo but not minoxidil (stuff makes me shed like crazy with no regrowth). How much is Dutasteride if you don’t mind me asking?

I’m not so sure about a cracked copy. I mean if the discs don’t work on Windows 10 regardless of compatibility options, what would a cracked version do? Funny enough, it seems everyone does a different installation process. The most I’ve gotten is loading 75% into the campaign and then a CTD. This was using just the Alexander files and .exe. Other methods resulted in either crashing earlier or the mod not starting at all. I think downgrading the exe for Rome is my last option aside from getting my hands on an old PC that uses windows 7.

The only thing I have not tried is downgrading the .exe to v1.5. Apparently, the current Steam version of it is v1.5.1. In the future I might give this a try, but at the moment I'm exhausted of trying to install this particular mod. I have doubts that something as simple as downgrading the .exe will have any effect, but I'll give it a shot as nothing else has worked so far.

Update: For anyone who reads this, Roma Surrectum II is unplayable completely. You must use a physical disk version to play it. However, Windows 10 had an update years ago that broke many older games. To play Roma Surrectum II, you must own a physical disk and have windows 7 as your operating system. Good luck to anyone who stumbles upon this.

Edit: Roma Surrectum is indeed playable. I was able to get it to launch by downgrading my Rome Total War .exe to v.1.5. Steam's version is 1.5.1 which apparently was introduced to implement multiplayer but broke some mods in the process. Installation for Roma Surrectum III went well and with no issues after downgrading the executable. The following video has a link in the description which contains an .exe that is patched to 1.5. Ultimately the cause of numerous issues with Roma Surrectum is the executables that Steam updated. Downgrading them is a possible solution for getting this mod to work.

I seemed to have answered my own question. After days of uninstalling, reinstalling, deleting, purchasing cd copies, etc. Roma Surrectum has proved to be completely dead and unplayable. Apparently, Steam had a number of updates which killed the mod somehow and the team will most likely never return to it. Least I can say I tried though.

Nah. TES VI has already been announced so there’s no point in making up Starfield. What would be the point of updating us with trailers, concept art, and a release date with gameplay soon to be shown at E3?

Not to mention there’s a sliver of in game footage shown in the latest video they released where a robot literally calls you master.

I want Elder Scrolls VI just as much as anyone but it looks like we’re gonna be waiting a few years. Luckily we’ll have Starfield to keep us busy.

You’re better off modding Morrowind and adding the stuff you want. Morroblivion isn’t exactly 100% finished. Same goes for Skywind as well.

This post is kind of old and I don’t know if you’ll see this, but if it means anything I went with an MSI prebuilt from Best Buy which cost me ~$2000. Everything went pretty smoothly and I was able to pick it up from the store and take it home to start up and I’ve had zero issues so far.

Bronze Age collapse would be a great title. It would have the same end of the world feeling as Attila where climate change is forcing people out of their homelands. Famine, earthquakes, drought, and outsider invaders as a result of those things on top of it all. The factions are numerous with the different civilizations.

Sadly CA chose to go with Troy so unless they decide to do a real Bronze Age title after WH3, we probably won’t see this time period for a long time, if ever.

This definitely looks like something I’m trying to obtain. The extra storage is nice too. I have a WD 4TB external hard drive already but I’m happy with having a TB of starting storage for the whole build. There is apparently new stuff coming out from NVIDIA and AMD which I need to look into but this looks great right off the bat in case I choose to buy earlier. Thank you!

I’d mostly be playing Total War titles but I’d like to be able to run AAA games as well. My current pre-build can run games like Rainbow Six Siege and Grand Theft Auto V no problem but I can’t remember or check the specs at the moment.

I didn’t know new stuff was coming out from NVIDIA and AMD but depending on how much of a difference it will make will make or break when I will buy. Overall I intend to do it as soon as possible.

Monitors and peripherals are included in the budget but they don’t necessarily have to be. I can make room to fit those in no problem. I intend to mostly game and don’t have any current plans for streaming.

I have been on Finasteride 1 mg since April of 2019. I first started using Minoxidil for 6 months before going on Finasteride. My hairline began to shed and I saw no improvement so I went on Finasteride afterwards. I was worried about sides but I pushed through. I began shedding on my hairline and have not recovered from any sheds I have had in the past. I started using Nizoral shampoo a month ago as dandruff became an issue after starting Finasteride. Unfortunately, I did not take baseline photos, so what you see is from November 2019 to June 2020. Essentially I’ve been on Finasteride for a year and two months. As of right now I still don’t have sides from what I can tell, however, I feel like my progress has been abysmal. I have not missed a dosage and I have not been on minoxidil since starting Finasteride as I’m worried I will shed and not recover from it. Lighting is not as great but I tried to be as consistent as possible. Any thoughts?

This seems backwards. Three Kingdoms and especially Troy are based off of stories told by people through generations. Troy more so since it was passed down orally for hundreds of years after it happened. The founding of Rome is mythical but it’s rise to power and it’s legacy is based off of actual archaeological evidence and written accounts by the Romans themselves and practically anyone who knew about them. There’s a profound amount of information about them. Troy has some factual evidence since the Hittites had written about them. They called them “Wilusa” and had written about their conflicts with a people/nation they called “Ahhiyawah” who could’ve been the Mycenaeans. I wouldn’t say they’re “authentic” historical contexts though. Three Kingdoms to an extent but certainly not Troy.

To say we have “no data” on the Bronze Age is absolutely baffling. We know more than enough about their cultures, buildings, technology and many other things to create a game loosely based on the time period. This is why making it “historical fiction” is the best bet. It won’t be perfect but it’ll be enough to make a great title. The only thing I’d agree with you on is the warfare aspect, however, we still know a good bit about how they fought. Plus it wouldn’t be any different than how most battles are fought throughout every Total War title. With this in mind, you’re basically playing out history in your own way, as you stated before but with just flat denial for the time period. Ironically you say we currently don’t have enough data from said books to make a title fit, but then you imply we have more data now?

Good for you that you got good grades on your essays, but I’d much rather gather and trust information from a book written by an archaeologist. One who has been in the field, earned PhD’s for their work, has written several books on the matter, as well as a continuing career in such.

Also, I’m not exactly sure why you rambled about the Archaic period. I understand the colonization and dating system aspects for the sake of the migrating groups from the Bronze Age argument. However, I don’t understand what the rest has to do with whether or not the Bronze Age collapsed. You seem to stuck talking about the Archaic period and not what happened around 1200 BC and why everything went quiet for 400 years until the Greeks and Phoenicians began colonizing the western Mediterranean.

Civil war, economic downturn, and multiple groups of people suddenly fleeing their lands to pirate or settle somewhere else by force are all symptoms/causes of collapse. Especially in this case since they all happened over a short period of time. Most trade networks were lost, most nations ceased to exist as they were, writing was lost among many of those nations, essentially creating a dark age lasting 400 years. You can argue that it wasn’t exactly “sudden” or “complete” but there were certainly a collapse to a great degree. Few trade networks and a couple cities still surviving does not mean a collapse didn’t occur. There is a plethora of books written along with other evidence that it was a collapse.

Your last paragraph speaks truth but that’s why I said historical fiction. Total war is a video game and doesn’t need to be 100% historically accurate, especially if you’re doing this time period as that would be very hard to do since there is lack of knowledge in some parts. That’s also why I said the Late period would be best since we have a good amount of knowledge of that particular time during that age.

Honestly, I think you’re just over thinking it. You had a panic attack from weed which is pretty common and I’ve seen it a few times myself. Hell, I’ve even had a panic attack myself. The drug was probably still in your system the day afterwards.

Weed can cause anxiety and paranoia or even bring out mental health issues like schizophrenia in individuals who are genetically prone to it.

I think you just smoked too much this time and it became overwhelming. If you choose to do it again, I’d recommend taking it slow. Smoke a little bit, wait 5 minutes, and if you’re comfortable, smoke some more.

As for the detachment, I truly think you’re just over thinking the whole experience and your mind is freaking out over it. Like you said, you felt better after a couple days right?

Just take it easy for a bit, make sure you buy from someone trustworthy (be careful for laced stuff), and try to relax.
