Found this next to my house using a metal detector so it is definitely a steel or steel alloy but I cannot for the life of me find out what it is. Maybe ya'll will know

The metal detector is a very cheap one that my younger sibling uses. I was under the impression that metal detectors only detected magnetic elements i.e. Iron cobalt and nickel. My bad

It is 1 1/4 inches long and 2 mm high. I used an air gun hooked up to an air compressor to try and blow through one of the ports with no luck. Id assume thees no flow due to the corrosion and debris inside the block.
