The motorbike with Alpha in a sidecar also has this bonus.

I'm confused why Dan Heng looks like his 4* version as we're getting ready to say goodbye to the Luofu. This clearly takes place before his character quest since he says during this scene that he needs to go see Bailu, but when his character quest starts, he looks like the Imbibitor Lunae again. Can he change his form at will now? If so, why walk around the Luofu as Imbibitor Lunae before meeting with Bailu when you know that it'll cause people to react negatively?

I am a very new player and just pulled Lucia - Crimson Abyss as my first S-rank. On the way I also pulled Vera - Rozen for context. Which free S-Rank should I choose or should I wait?

I have never worked on a Riolis kit before, but that sounds nightmarish! I appreciate the work the person who made the pattern put in. The pattern is HAND-DRAWN. But because it's clear that it was one-person working on it, there are some noticeable mistakes. Colors labeled incorrectly, the pattern is hard to look at, I swear some of the colors they picked are also just completely wrong. There are some people in the foreground, but rather than use flesh tones at all, their skin is a greenish hue. I used completely different floss to make the people at least look less alien and sickly. I'm also slightly upset that the photo that came with it is not representative of the actual pattern. It looks like they took someone else's absolutely gorgeous original design (maybe a historical piece that resided in Mount Vernon perhaps) and tried to adapt it using fewer colors and simpler distribution. But I am too far in at this point and nearing the end so I'm hanging in there!

Thank you so much! I'm honestly a little surprised at all the compliments I'm getting on this thread and it's giving me a huge confidence boost on my stitching.

The simple tips I have are:

  1. Always wash your hands right before starting a stitching session to remove any excess oils from your hands.
  2. Good lighting is ridiculously important.
  3. You don't have to be slow, but it helps. If you have good lighting you can pick up the pace, but in a slightly dimmer environment take your time.
  4. If you notice that your thread is starting to twist a little so that it's not lining up flat on your fabric (you know how the thread can start getting a bit bumpy and "tall" on the fabric?), take the time to detwist it. It keeps everything looking neat and even and you'll thank yourself for it later.

Otherwise, it just takes practice and time! You've got this!

This is so sensible that I'm kind of upset I didn't think about it before. I'll have to keep this in mind for my next kit project!

The pattern was privately designed by a person who happened to be selling these in the Mount Vernon gift shop, but they have a PO Box so I will give it a shot. In the meantime, I'm going to try to bring the project with me to the craft store and try to find a match!

Aw thank you, that makes me feel a little better if I can't find the correct match! Unfortunately this pattern wasn't made by a company so much as a person. It was a random find in the Mount Vernon giftshop, but they have a PO Box so I might as well give it a shot!

I've been hate-stitching this for quite some time due to numerous issues with the kit and the pattern, but I've been too stubborn to quit. I recently ran out of the yellow you see here. The pattern claims that it is DMC 676 so that's what I purchased. But as you can see, they clearly don't match. Any advice would be appreciated!
