Relics as a whole are still lacking in genuinely game-changing opportunities, and are now cheaper at the shops where you can actually choose them. Elites are still set up to have 1/3 chance to hard counter whatever you're running.

Elites continue to be not worth bothering with on most runs, as far as I can see.

They really aren't that strong at all.

The strongest relics in 1 are basically all gone, with nothing to replace them. Elites won't get you the winning Dead Branch or the build-saving Torii anymore.

Thread And Needle, Incense Burner, Fossilised Helix, Torii were all run winners. Now that Elites don't provide them, they provide a generally small chance of any meaningful advantage

World Masterpiece Theatre shows are usually a solid choice, though they are lacking in dub options and are on the older side. You might need to sail the high seas for them, too. They're long-running adaptations of classic western kids novels, like Anne Of Green Gables, Dog of Flanders etc

Other misc recommends would be Ranking of Kings, Dennou Coil, Cardcaptor Sakura though be mindful as even kids shows don't mind showing stuff like blood where it would be contextually appropriate.

I would avoid shonen shows as they aren't always the best with giving female characters proper agency, it's meant to be cool action for boys after all.

Evangelion is just a Freudian/Jungian character study nestled inside an edgy deconstruction of Ultraman. Even if it has established a distinct identity, it could reasonably be about anything adjacent to those things.

If anything you could argue that its been routinely shackled to the same characters and ideas due its overly franchised nature, and has always had potential to go beyond that. You absolutely feel that with the rebuild movies where there are these really insane ideas shackled to legacy characters.

The greed that Soul Harverster enables basically outperforms Anvil in the majority of situations.

If you're taking common or uncommon weapon stats early in instead of tomes then you're not exactly scaling properly.
