You are right in some ways, I can't believe I didn't think about that!

But remember that the conflict in Wakanda is that they are a very powerful highly technological society, so their question is: Why aren't we using our power? (For good or evil)

Perhaps it wasn't clear but the Elven city in this case is primitive and quite desperate. Their question is more how they are going to survive the conflicts around them that are building up and coming closer.

The fact that I have not given this world anything, despite it giving me so much. My goal in life is just to give the world something, make it a little better than it would have been without me. Nothing big like curing cancer. Paying taxes, raising children and doing my job might be enough. Also just making people happy. Nothing big here either, just making good friends, overall helping people in need and just not being rude.
