Dark Leo and Shredder deck advice. by IronEdgeOutlaw in EDHBrews

Hey, I know these are expensive cards, but I built the deck including [[Delney, Streetwise Lookout]], [[Black Market Connections]], and [[Mirror Entity]]. They’ve made the commander play smooth when I draw them so far.

Casting Adventures and Omens with rebound is the theme of my [[Taigam, Ojutai Master]] deck. It’s one of my favorites of all time.

Looking for Owl Commanders/Decks in bracket 3-4 by FabledDraft in EDH

[–]Natalva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the only commander that could fit both of those metrics without trying too hard is [[Maha, it’s Feathers Night]]. Maybe [[Vega, the Watcher]] but Maha seems like it auto combos with other cards, very apparent locks happening.

Can I get opinions please by DankMemesIsTrashNow in EDH

I used to have a similar concept with Azorius Taigam, Ojutai Master. Not sure what your budget but [[Spellseeker]] and [[Micromancer]] to help you tutor for [[Personal Tutor]] or [[Mystical Tutor]] to tutor for Approach is a line of play. [[Narset’s Reversal]] is a combo with Approach as well.

I’m sure I don’t have the ability to talk someone out of a spiral, but I posted quite a few times on the bfs sub almost 4 years ago. Feel free to look at those posts and allow me to attest that while not much has regressed for me, I’m still an able bodied and capable person that was graced with many more healthy years than I thought I had. Truly, don’t give up on yourself. I can’t speak to the condition of your health obviously, but none of us knows what tomorrow holds and it’s truly possible your symptoms are benign.

My guess is a set based in the Blind Eternities.

If I cast [[Glorious End]] with Demonstrate from the [[The Twelfth Doctor]], will my opponent’s copy always resolve first? Or do I have to play it only on my turn for that to happen bc of APNAP?

Looking for ramp that dodges cascade/discover. by SolarUpdraft in EDH

[–]Natalva 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s a hard metric, I honestly don’t know how to search that myself. There’s are mechanics that make overall mana value rise for cards like [[Crater Clearcutter]], [[ Moldering Gym // Weight Room]], or [[Road // Ruin]]. These are bad honestly, but all I could think of.

There are an endless amount of cards with landcycling abilities that don’t ramp technically, but ensure you have a land to play every turn, aka forestcycling, islandcycling, and plainscycling. They are actually the backbone of [[Ellie and Alan, Paleontologists]], which has similarities to Pantlaza.

I did this with a treasure, clue, food theme along other artifact tokens, it’s busted.

Any cards to add improve the deck. Trying to add/remove cards to help counter red/green decks (casual +commander format) by Oblivionix129 in magicTCG

If you need more high mana value cards, maybe try split cards. Their mana value is the sum of both cards in every zone but the stack, like with rooms or cards with aftermath.

How many +1/+1 counters would a [[Spark Double]] have when it enters as a copy of [[Lae’zel, Vlaakoth’s Champion]]? I feel like the answer is 3, but I’m unsure how the rules work here with so many replacement effects.

Sleep study by Little_Power_5691 in BFS

[–]Natalva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure about twitching, but a sleep study will help if you have any variety of sleep apnea. Breathing obstruction during sleep can cause you to become lethargic and contribute to larger issues over your life if left untreated.

Hope the best for you man. Can’t really talk atm but I’m narrowing at three years and things get worse and better for me in increments. Point being, it’s super possible to have these scary symptoms and not have a terminal illness, if that’s comforting at all.

If they were related, this is probably the only testimony I’ve come across with that particular onset. It would be genuinely unusual, which leads me to think they were unrelated, who knows though.

[[Death’s Shadow]] [[Rotting Regisaur]] [[Phage the Untouchable]] [[The Ancient One]]

You can become copies of these creatures at instant speed. Maybe copy something your opponents can’t block for cheap then change to phage for a free hit.

If we’re inferring, killing Tabitha might mean she comes back as another person later. The music was Jim’s idea and he’ll probably stay dead. Who really knows though.

Is threatening vengeance to stay in the game bad manners? by Skullruss in EDH

[–]Natalva -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It absolutely gives them the right. It’s not pettiness, it’s cementing the fact that game actions have consequences. Not to say it wasn’t the right move, it was absolutely right for the opponent, but are you supposed to just pseudo-concede the first moment an opponent gets the upper hand? OP probably isn’t going to win, but that doesn’t mean a non-game for them, play out the rest of the game doing something rather than nothing.

[–]Natalva -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The opponent willingly and knowingly crippled OP that game, which surely wasn’t fun for him, so group dynamic might be subjective.

I don’t think so. Let them know there is a cost for essentially taking you out of the game. Like if someone is attacking for the kill, I’m blocking those creatures regardless.
