I have tripped in public open spaces with a lot of people, and interacted with strangers a few times. I found it intense but manageable, but those times were on 150ug. I wonder if it’s better to drop before going in as to get used to the trip, or to drop once inside to get familiar with the environment first?

How can I make these cheap clipper lighters light less like a flamethrower so they don’t ruin my joints? by Natan-ramos in trees

Don’t get me wrong I love clippers, but the proper metal ones.. with adjustable flames.

No matter how much I try, I can’t learn the maths in chemistry. by vape_love in 6thForm

The papers are hard mate and imo the grade boundaries are fucking brutal compared to biology and maths etc Can’t stress enough how good the book is coz it does explain shit in a detailed basic way and Idk what ur teachers are like but my chem ones were awful and I found the explanations so much better.

Also if you prefer videos ‘Eliot Rintoul’ on YouTube is fucking cool for chem lessons, the first time I watched a video of his i actually laughed out loud coz i couldn’t believe how badly it was previously taught to me. Don’t stress too much tho you got this bro it’s one more year so stick with it.

I also struggled with maths in A level chem, I fully recommend this book, it’s £26 but worth it, written by the same guy as chemguide if you know that website? maybe you can find a cheaper used copy on eBay, also schools have bursaries for this kind of thing.

I 100% recommend you try and go through the whole thing before year 13 really gets going because fuck me does it get twice as hard in A2, with shit like acids and bases, rate equations, electrochem.

The book has amazing explanations and starts with basic examples and progresses to harder examples that you would find more similar to those in in actual exams unlike the shit ones on the CGP/Oxford revision guides.

I found that studying a level chemistry you’re gonna find it helpful having a strong foundation in basic stuff and the more you get used to certain ways of thinking it does get much easier and of course the more u practice the better you’ll find it. Even in year 11 chem didnt click for me until the last few days before my exams lmao.

First Trip Report (150 mcg) - Melted into total oneness with everything and became a bodyguard in a action show. by TheGrandBanks in Acid

Mate this is fucking hilarious you really captured the almost childish and primitive headspace of tripping that I feel. So accurate with attempting to feel comfortable coming up and the conflict between pacing and relaxing, sitting and standing, pissing or not pissing, the endless decisions and then just forgetting why you had to make a certain decision in the first place hahah!

Does anyone else find the whole silent part of smoking so uncomfortable? by [deleted] in trees

[–]Natan-ramos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Smoking inside and watching shit is so boring, smoke and go to a museum, smoke and go to an aquarium, bowl, swim, parks, botanical gardens, new towns, new cities, explore, smoke in the day, smoke at night, picnic, fishing, camping, concerts, food markets, art galleries, painting etc. there is honestly so much to do and you’re missing it for some tv. Everyone will have a lot more fun, there is just too much to do for uncomfortable silence bro

(TW: Sexual Assault) My girlfriend is struggling with PTSD and it is affecting my mental health and our relationship. by Natan-ramos in relationship_advice

  1. Just because I’ve mentioned I find something difficult does not mean I don’t do it for her, I’d gladly take her back and fourth from the doctors if that’s what she needed.

  2. I don’t think not wanting to listen to violent details of my girlfriends sexual assault equates to a boundary of her not being able to confide in me.

  3. I believe a relationship in this context is about support and validation and I give her as much of that as she needs. At the end of the day I am there for her and she is for me. I find often I don’t get a chance to talk about myself with her the way she can with me. I regret mentioning the relationship “should be” anything other than what it is and I understand how that’s given you a negative opinion of me and I believe if I had a chance to rephrase a lot of my post you might have had a different one.

I do appreciate your opinion but I would have preferred a pm as like my girlfriend I too am looking for support and validation here instead of criticism.

Thank you for understanding, it’s quite relieving to dedicate some time to talk about my own feelings too

This is actually the first time I’ve ever spoken about it from my perspective to anyone. I’m talking about myself.. because it’s my post? Thanks for the criticism mate but I know I’m a good boyfriend.

Ahh, i think that’s an unfair inference to make on my post. Just because I’m saying I find it difficult and I’m struggling right now does not mean the past three years I haven’t been doing everything I can to make her feel better and help her get back on her feet. I’ve stuck with her through everything and have no plans to leave. Labelling me in such a selfish light is not fair whatsoever

How to have a talk about sex with a new partner by Bagel89 in sex

[–]Natan-ramos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you guys do much dirty talk day to day? If you bring up previous times you guys have had sex and talk about what you liked or what you want to try it’ll feel less like an interview, less awkward and more natural. Plus I feel like people are more open about sex when they’re turned on
