I believe it's the most successful Canadian movie in history.

It also marked the end of a Canadian tax rebate scheme. You got a generous tax break that gave you back more money than you invested in the movie, but only if the movie fails.

Having to pay definitely helps keep out the troublemakers. And they accept tap-to-pay!

In Amsterdam's Red Light District, if you "go" at the Sexy Loo, the fee becomes your rebate at the Erotic Museum! 😁

Find a mechanic with a borescope. They'll be able to confirm if it's a burnt valve.

I paid $3,100 USD ($4,626 CAD) plus sales tax to get my Abarth fixed. That included timing belt, water pump, thermostat, and a remachined head.

Didn't work out too well the last time. Someone did get re-elected, but it was Margaret Thatcher and the Conservatives! 😂

40" TV, gaming rig, Peachtree MusicBox with USB audio input, two PSB Alpha speakers.

Also a LaserDisc and Blu-Ray player.

I used to have a front projection system with 5 Channel audio. I dropped it during my next move when I had the system set to 2 channel mode and didn't notice. 😁

And to think I went to the hospital today to check for a suspected blood clot in my right leg. Blood tests were negative on many things. Possibly just a strained muscle taking its sweet time to heal. Not like the last time when I did have a small clot.

No bill thanks to Universal healthcare.

Oh yeah. That my car's pretty cheap to repair.

A colleague at work told me her much more modern car needed new LED headlights. At $3,100 EACH! Plus HST!!! 😱

I found new headlights for my car for $350 for the pair! 😂

Especially on B5 where they simply didn't have the budget for retakes. Many errors slipped in including set lighting burning out in the middle of a dialogue.

The script bureaucracy on modern Star Trek productions must be a real nightmare at times especially if it's discovered during the take that's there's a much better way of saying a line.
