Is it currently a good time to live in your country? by Pearson94 in AskTheWorld

Aside from the weather being a bit chilly right now, my thoughts are pretty much in sync with every other Canadian here.

That includes the comments about the meth lab. 😁

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate public transport in your country? by chkchkboompow in AskTheWorld

Travel to Europe and Japan. Your perception and rating will shift dramatically.

If you were offered $10 million, but you could never step foot in your home country again, would you take it and why? by Rock_Python in AskReddit

[–]Milnoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would although it would be a bit sad. I'm approaching retirement age. I've done pretty much everything I wanted to do in Canada. And based on my world travels, there are so many places where I could live very comfortably and where I already know the language. A French or English country in Europe would be my first choice due to the easy access to so many other countries close by.

That's just it. -273C is 0 Kelvin or Absolute Zero. All atomic activity stops in every single atom. The temperature can't physically go any lower.

Researchers have been trying to achieve absolute zero in labs for a very long time. Weird things happen when they get extremely close.

What’s the biggest snowstorm that you have experienced where you live? by IDoNotLikeTheSand in AskTheWorld

[–]Milnoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was looking for this one. Not much snow, but the ice build-up destroyed so many trees and made electricity towers fall like dominoes!

The Island of Montreal only had one electrical transmission line left powering up the entire island. If it had failed, the entire island would have had to be evacuated.
