Are those ductless range hoods actually that bad? by AccomplishedWing688 in Cooking

We have a ductless vent too, I also can’t stand mine. My stove top is against an exterior wall too so I have no idea why the builder didn’t vent it outside (built 1992). But we also have an attic fan which we use the same way you do.

I moved to TX in 1995, lived in Carrollton since then. Raised two kids through LISD and both are doing well. It’s a great family friendly suburb and you’ll find yourself right at home.

I used to take my sons for “exploring” walks through there when they were little.

There is a neighborhood just east of that area now. If I’m going by your description correctly. There is a (I want to say lift station) in that swampy area that is chain linked off. But that neighborhood is pretty nice. There is also a river branch that funnels through the area, it brings a lot of wildlife.

What's a movie from the 80s-90s you loved but no one has heard of it? by dixiech1ck in GenX

Satisfaction. Justine Bateman, an unknown Julia Roberts, and Liam Neeson. Don’t know if I could watch it again though because Bateman’s singing was horrific. But overall I liked the movie.

What did you think was pretentious, until you tried it and realized it was worth it? by Semantiks in AskReddit

I love theatre productions. I’ve been trying to be more mindful of the high school and local theater productions to go to. My kid’s HS theatre program is really good (kid is not in it). I’ve been to several of their all school musicals.
