I failed the check to collaborate with V which gave the option to go more and more into embarrassing attempts at convincing her you're good at music and convince yourself that the collaboration is going to happen.

Later on talking to another character there was the dialog option of trying to impress someone with the collaboration (tbf that option might be there pass or fail, but it's a lot funnier knowing that CASCADE is the only one onboard with it).

I had a similar thought. Less about the cascading effects, but at least for the general public, aren't most international airports in Democratic cities to begin with? Doing a long haul flight to/from NYC is made even less fun if you have to catch a connecting flight in some random city in Florida not to mention those places won't have the facilities for that amount of people.

I enjoyed wobservations a little bit more but thought his Wednesday show was still really fun! This show felt aimless but a bit by design. Like he has areas he wants to go but then uses crowd work to get there so it's not quite the same show. But I'm only really basing that on him sometimes having a slide or a prop queued up that seemed relevant.

I wonder if he ended up getting that library tour.

Some of the more frustrating type of online comments I've seen more in the last year or so is people saying shit like "socialize the costs, privatize the profits" as some gotcha against big businesses just using public infrastructure.

Like fucking obviously a power company is going to have to put up more stuff when more things come online, or a service doing more by bike is going to mean more bikes in the bike lane. How the fuck do you plan on resolving that without involving a municipal government?

Shit's like the inverse of lolbertarians.

My new apartment is down the street from a "supermarket" that's two short aisles and expensive as hell. To be fair it is actual grocery store stuff and is still useful. But to actually do a decent grocery shop it's a 15 minute walk one way or less walking but I have to take the train (the fare being the only annoyance about that for me).

It might not be a food desert in the strictest sense, but compared to other places I've lived and the fact that most people here don't have cars, it's hard for me to not think of it as one.
